There's been clear and valid reasoning regarding pricing from @EverythingBlu and the prices as is are very reasonable anyway... No need to get your panties in a twist Jack :p

I'm not getting het up about this. I understand exactly what they are doing; but there is a protocol to these things and they are breaking it. One price for all - taxes come off after sales - not before.

What exactly are they doing? :coffee:

I don't claim to be any form of expert in this particular field :giggle: but what exactly is the difference? ROW will pay the lower tax deducted sum regardless if it's indicated before or after sale. Just saying...

Looks wise the art isn't the best on the full slip but with the finishes on it I think it'll look great. I have only got one sotd steel and one hot fuzz which are the uk sideways art so I'm hoping for something completely new, also got the uk world's end so I'm hoping for something new there too. I like the way everythingblu is being open about the difficulties in getting new artwork approved so we can be more understanding of their restrictions for this release.. I definitely want to support a new uk retailer and especially one who wants to give us the best possible.. like he says, the more they grow the more freedom they will have.. I remember the first fac's, they've worked very hard to give their customers more content etc so it'll be fun so see where everythingblu goes. This may be their first release (I know they did killer clowns but this is their first exclusive steelbook, if I've read correctly) so if those slip details and textures look half as good as I think they're gonna then it's an excellent start.

I'm gonna set up an account on the 4th so I'm all ready to order on the 6th at 7.30pm. I hope the release date isn't too far off as I'm really excited to see the finished product:oohyeah::joy:

The steelbook was the same as the Previous U.K realise sweetheart . It was the slip and extras that where the iceing on the Klown pack .

The slip is well LUSH so vibrant . Can not wait for MY SOD one click . Cereful though One Clicking can be a tad addictive :) .

The problem with this VAT thing is the business is incorporated within UK and being VAT registered. Those days Play.com used to ship from Guernsey when the VAT loophole was not closed. So it was win-win for both the retailer and UK customers. Strangely thehutgroup / zavvi operates that way. When Govt closed that VAT loophole, many retailers shut their shops and sold them to other investors / buyers.

I still think UK customers must end up paying the lowest price (not just 3 or 4 less) followed by EU. We always subsidise for ROW and get ripped off. This has to stop but sadly it won't.

If you buy 4 or 5 of these, it will most likely cost less to import than buying locally which is ridiculous IMO.

With Amazon, importers always get benefited. I still remember Star Wars Steelbooks (6 of them) was costing 15% less to importers than those in the UK / EU.

Lol.. sadly (or luckily) I couldn't afford to buy one clicks.. really wish I could though, there's been a few times I've wanted to but never been able.

Can't wait to see these in hand:oohyeah:

@chunk

I think you will be supprised sweetheart Below is my One Clicks with a GB

Dredd Nova
5th Eliment Kimchi
Manta Constantine not here yet

Now Shaun .

Later than a GB I bit for a

HdZ Gladiator Tri Pack
Zero Dark Thiry Quad pack .

Unfortunately I had to make a choice between FA Dredd and Constantine :sorry: . I put it to a family vote and Constantine won :ohno: .

That and 5 editions I felt the delay FA put us through then 5 editions was overkill .

With already having the EverythingBlu Killer Klown I know the quality and care will be the best with Shaun Of The Dead :) .

I usually go for pixar and marvel for my premium editions (not all and never one clicks, just can't afford it) but I did pick up the fifth element lenti and the john wick lenti from nova.. both really nice.
I didn't get Constantine, I've seen the film once when It was released, I might have a dvd for it somewhere.. I should give it another watch:) it must be good if you went for that over dredd fac (but 5 different releases was a crazy idea:confused::OMG: never checked in to see if they actually sold out of all versions)

I would love a one click for blufans Dory and zootopia.. I'm gonna try and stick to one of each though:ohno:

I trust your judgement completely,if you say the care and quality will be the best for shaun I have nothing to worry about:notworthy::thumbs: very much looking forward to getting the whole package, gonna put up a little zombie steelbook display on my wall (no more room with my walking dead display) so this will definitely join my other steels up there:cigar: I need a bigger flat..... and a money tree:LOL:

Love the film but not entirely convinced by this, nothing really jumps out at me as a must buy. The box is out of the question, I don't like the art on the first one, and I don't think I can justify £30+ on the lenticular slip.

I've also no interest in the rest of the 'cornetto trilogy' in any kindo of special editions as Shaun was by far the best, Hot fuzz was ok but nowhere near as good and the worlds end was poor (great soundtrack though)

Just my thoughts....

The prices shown and where there are shown at the moment are simply informative. The official store where purchases will be made will have inclusive & exclusive VAT prices shown, which is perfectly fine.

And thats the beauty of collecting. We don't all have the same collection. We can't please everyone but we really appreciate your comment. Keep an eye on us as we do have some things lined up of movies that may interest you and hopefully the artwork can draw you in next time.

Thanks again,

@EverythingBlu

Out of curiosity do you have a relise date for your blu box of Shaun ? .
We will confirm when the store launches but we are looking around April. Now, we know thats a long time away but with it being our first BIG operation we would rather be cautious than optimistic with the date. The long period between pre-order to release date will only happen 1-3 times maybe. By the time we are at release 3 for example, you would be receiving a release through your door every 4-6 weeks depending on how successful our schedule goes. So basically, its only the initial couple of releases that may seem long between pre-order to release date, its simply to find our rhythm.

Thanks,
EverythingBlu
