In a perfect world, they would all be shipped at varying dates and arrive on everyone's doorsteps at the exact same time.

We don't live in a perfect world. I imagine they may have to package things a little more securely for international shipping, so it might be easier to get the domestic shipments out of the way first.

If my package arrives safe and the order is complete, I'm a happy camper.

(1) Couldn't help noticing a sizeable gap between the slipped steels and the inside of the red Blubox and was just wondering if said space was occupied by the "goodies" in a sealed pouch or envelope?
Of course it's an eminently sensible idea to not have a tight fit, slips to inside of outer box, as I'm thinking rubbing could affect the finish on the delicate slips . . . but the gap still looks a wee bit strange (unless, as mentioned above, the space is filled with other stuff . . .

(2) Looks like care is required in handling the red box too as rubbing could cause an issue with the outer red faux leather coating in places leaving patches of the white under layer - such as seen here top left hand corner . . .

I'll say this ... that is actually the hardest part of the project. Least from our experience. And also what I see with others too. A perfect fit means you have all the stuff that goes inside before hand. Your measurements have to be correct to a tee, then passed on to your designers who are skilled in making things perfect in this instance not just someone using photoshop as that wont cut it but for manufacturing and packaging. Believe it or not that is where most our r&d went with our editions as i even bought a special tool for it as I didnt want to have gaps like I've seen others have. Talking general , not at EB, cause I've seen it from many retailers even the ones people hail like blufans. But this is why you make adjustments and try to stick to same stuff once you perfect it. ie. if 48 page booklet is what fits in that slot perfectly as opposed to the 36 you tried the first time then you stick to the same suppliers and contents to ensure consistencies and correct it. Most manufacturing plants will not stop their lines cause you want to make sure your booklet on your few thousand run job will fit right. Heck even here in the USA the release of last year's The Dark Knight Trilogy from Warner bros had a white design hard box like slipbox and that thing was so OFF. So the **** happens even with Warner Bros money. Cause people dont want and cant take the time, effort and energy to perfect those things as it cost too much in man hours and money. Which sucks ... but yeah.

We're the picky bunch, we're the collectors, and its the pressure from this market that makes the boutique labels try and perfect these small things. If a label is showing improvements then that is the biggest thing cause then you know they care.

Why would UK buyers get it first? Do not understand this logic at all. IMO, items should be shipped and received in the order they came in...regardless of location.

Lets say if this was done more organised and parcels were sent closer together, the delivery would be faster within the UK, I ordered mine within a min, there doesn't seem any order to it.

That's a good point there, there is a distinct lack of any order going on at the moment.

Where is @EverythingBlu? It would at least be nice to get a response from them.
They were all over the forums before and just after pre order answering a whole host of questions (for obvious reasons), now the pressure is on and some members here seem quite unhappy they're nowhere to be seen.
I understand they must be really busy with the shipping, but too busy to answer all the questions being fired at them? only takes a couple of minutes to post something here that would probably put a lot of minds at rest.

As you can imagine they must be pretty busy ATM at EBlu Towers - packing and arranging deliveries of maybe 2,000 packages - so that's why they did it the quickest way and posted this update message today on their Facebook page for everyone to read:-
Hello,
The rest of the orders will be out by the end of the week-end.
A large number of tracking numbers are going out to morrow.
Sorry again, but we are very cose to completing.
EverythingBlu

Anyone receive a low number yet ?
How do the PVC numbered cards look ?

Because they're being shipped from the UK? So it makes sense for people in the UK to get them first?

Unfortunately we don't have a portal between the UK and America, so things take slightly longer to get there.

I don't understand your logic at all :-/ So you're saying if you and I ordered at the same time, resulting in same day shipping, that we should receive them at the same time? How so? I'm only a couple of hours drive down the road from where they're being shipped from, whereas you are a 12 hour flight.

Do you also have this hang up when you order stuff from Zavvi?

You're pissing into the wind with this one I'm afraid... lol

I guess we can throw the "shipping by order number" theory out the window, mine was #1044 and still unfulfilled, I doubt it would take them a week to get less than 50 packages out.

I click on the number but I find nothing
You need to copy the tracking number from your order page into the "Consignment or card number" field and then click "Find your parcel".

A bit cumbersome, but apparently there's no mechanism to include the tracking number in the link to the tracking page.

Just received my lenti in the US.
Came through DHL delivery

My only complaint with this edition is that the lenti card is glued on ever so slightly a little off center. (not a huge issue, but just something i noticed)

But overall this is a really nice edition!

Will post in hand pics in a few.
