:hilarious: Hilarious, this is getting better and better really, this "premium" release start to becoming a biggest fail of all time :D I laughing now but don´t you dare to send me some f*cked up copy EB, otherwise I ask for full refund and plus some redemption money on top....

....but seriously, this is getting so out of your hands EB, that you should think about give us some partial refund at least, not only for all the troubles, to satisfy us a little bit, but also in order to remedy your reputation for the future, otherwise Im not sure what will happen....

EB trying to offer a partial refund? lol  By the time they get around to working out how to do that Hot Fuzz will probably be released.....

:D You know I must say that it crossed my mind when I was writing that post  but come on, they need to be put through the troubles in order to learn from their mistakes.

I would be happy if they returned the money after they canceled 2 orders for no reason.
Avoid publishing the ridiculous mail they sent to me, but now I'm really starting to lose patience.

Thanks to the few pics kindly provided here and elsewhere it looks to be a very handsome release and if I collected slipcases I wouldn't be at all embarrassed to have the SotD full slip in my collection especially as I don't have the new portrait steelbook in the collection.

The Blubox is nothing short of spectacular and if EBlu could put together something similar - as in a trilogy Blubox - for all three films in the "Cornetto Trilogy" - I'd part with the cash even though it would be a version 1 choice (see below).
Three versions of the "Cornetto Trilogy":-
Version 1 (basic) - All three steelbooks without slipcovers and without "goodies" but inside a premium Blubox (of the high spec SotD level).
Version 2 (premium) - All three steelbooks with a lenticular slipcase for each in a premium Blubox with "goodies".
Version 3 (premium) - As Version 2 . . . but this time all three steelbooks in fullslips.

SAME SIZE BLUBOX FOR ALL 3 VERSIONS - same size as THE MUMMY TRILOGY Blubox - with the only difference being padded dividers inside Version 1 to prevent the naked steels rubbing against each other.

Not exactly an Amazon or even a Zavvi setup if packing and dispatching up to 4,000 units out of their registered business address seen here:-

Doesn't matter how big or small you are . If you can't run a business properly then don't bother.

To be fair it's irrelevant where they are shipping from, they are a business and they charge the usual rates. It would have been much better if they had said will dispatch within 1-2 weeks of release due to the amount. Leaving people waiting after having paid 5 months beforehand isn't good.

It's no wonder people are getting frustrated after several delays and now another delay to get their package sent. The edition looks very nice but this is something EB need to rectify for their next release.

I really don't want to get into this all too much, but in all fairness, a packaging error like the one @Lotrek has encountered could well happen even at one of the established premium retailers. In fact, wasn't there only recently a user who got sent the wrong slip from Novamedia (I think it was Kill Bill Vol. 1)? He mailed them, they sent the requested copy, all easy-peasy.
So before passing judgment, let them have a chance to rectify it. If the customer service provides the missing items ASAP, this blows over the moment the goodies arrive at @Lotrek 's doorstep. It's bad publicity for EverythingBlu having this kind of negligence issue right with their first release, however.

Just FYI: Together with some other collectors from Germany I also ordered a copy (lenti slip). The package has not shipped yet. So I'm not siding with the company. But I do think it wouldn't be a bad idea to just calm the emotions down a bit.

It's EBlu's first major release - KILLER KLOWNS was 300 units if I remember correctly so not in the same ballpark by any stretch of the imagination - so some slack should be cut for these guys (IMO) and whatever has happened or not happened with their lovely SotD release it surely won't stop me ordering their MUMMY TRILOGY release.

Late, yes, but better late than never and the EBlu correspondent has been most helpful on HDN over the past few month supplying information on the finish, posting images etc. and answering queries posed by members here

Yes of course it can happen, people do mistakes all the time. For example somebody didn´t get his 4K disc in HDzeta Mad Max Black & Chrome edition which is huge mistake :D etc. but the thing is EB has so many problems with this release and this is just one of those problems. If I have so many troubles with this so far, I would be really careful with a packaging at least, it´s really ridiculous how problematic this release is.

Quick up on my situation..

Got a email back fairly quickly apologising for the mistake and they asked for my address and are going to post them to me.

Gotta say they may have been some bumps in the road with the release but with all the communication on here and the quick email back, I'm quite impressed on that department....I'm just hoping I receive them this time.

And how will I and many others ever find out if something is missing when we don't open our copies?
Guess I'll have to check the weight of all my Steels. :dead:

Collectors not receiving refunds after cancelled orders, items not posted a week after release.

Anyone else thinking this could be a cash flow problem, and they're waiting on the next injection of cash from The Mummy?
