I doubt it has, last time I checked there were A TON still available for both versions, full slips is still at almost the same number, so either it's an error or maybe they intentionally took the lenti down for whatever reason (my first guess would be a distribution deal of some kind).

Exactly, last time I checked as well;)

Still my order is unfulfilled and I've gotten no response from support at all. I'll give them 2 more days to either ship my stuff or reply to my email or I'm going to resend the charges to my credit card and get my money back. :grumpy:

One other mystery for me is this, if it was a zavvi thread, with everyone criticising the retailer, comments are commonly moved to the retailer thread and away from the more popular product listing.

Does a retailer have a choice of paying a "fee" to HDN for that additional "helpful service"?

Just thinking out loud..

Oh Starling my Darling ... yes please retailers please contact me and let me know what service you want and I'll gladly try to accommodate.

In all seriousness if a retailer wants to advertise at HDN we do sell that service (ie. a banner) but we don't sell hype, pruning of posts, etc. We allow the discussion to be organic. That isn't to say that other members dont have agendas of their own, but HDN does not contribute. So if I think a release is really cool ... it's cause I think its really cool and I'm a collector myself and post pics of my stuff often. I live and breathe this.

Zavvi is owned by The Hut Group, and despite the negative proclaim that Zavvi gets at times lets not forget that THG is valued or has been valued prior at 1 billion! So I dont think people are as worried about receiving a steelbook from such a retailer with that much backing vs. a new boutique label on the scene. So I think the comments and discussion here in this thread is ok until folks feel comfortable. Easier to go to this spot for all information for those who are concerned.

Personally I know how hard it is to handle logistics and while I have read many negative comments in here even some from mods those are those individuals personal opinions and not mine nor HDN's and because of that I dont feel like I should try to tell a mod who volunteers that they have silence their opinion. Obviously the product has been created, so personally I just think folks just need to chill out a bit and let things work out ... give EB some breathing room to handle the job. If 2 weeks go by and no sign of shipping then those still not taken care of should be concerned.

This is not to say that I dont understand the woes of waiting forever on a release esp if you feel like you've been mislead, and thus I get where the no chill comes from. I'm just from the old school of steelbookers and that means waiting a freakin' year for Let the Bullets Fly, Granted times have changed and no one is used to that anymore (and shouldnt be!) .... and disclaimer I didnt purchase this release so also my money isn't at play here.

Am I correct in saying folks without shipping confirmation are supposed to receive it by the end of play today?? Was that EB's last update? If so, it's 21:38 here in the UK and my order (like may others) is still "unfulfilled" (n) Gotta be dispatched Tuesday, surely!?!

End of play today is unlikely. Most likely end of today lol. Even that is unlikely. Think they will resume shipping tomorrow.

Not back onto the topic of how Hermes treats packages again are we BUMP!. I too, curious of when #1144 is also shipping? Will it be before 2nd Jun?

There is a reason why EB would focus priority on international orders. That reason I do not know. But everything these days are done for a reason.
You could say that they randomly picked out a handful and the lucky ones are from international buyers. True that could be a possibility. Anything is possible. But for me to accept that, very unlikely.
The fact is none of these are shipped in order, and nearly all UK buyers have yet to receive a dispatch is very strange indeed.
Can you imagine Zavvi dispatching internationally buyers who receive theirs before UK buyers?
You would think it would be easier to organise the shipments in two phases, UK mainland and international. Logistically it would be much easier to ship a bulk of UK buyers first in one go, and then focus on all the different countries. However whatever reason EB have decided to go through and favour all or most the international shipments first
International shipping generally takes longer......otherwise no idea why they are being favoured
