Damn, looks like EB can only count from 1 to 89 and then anything between 90 to 100 is guess work for them!

Same issue as me mate, got 2 92s and a 91

I still haven't even contacted them because I genuinely can't be bothered to be palmed by them and not get a response and if it is sorted wait over a month for a dispatch just for a card.

I've also noticed like a black biro mark on my box. Never see that before

I should really contact them though so they are aware of their epic fail

Cheers @CleverLoginName
Not me I'm finished dealing with them, I don;t want to have anything to do with them after this fiasco. The whole thing from start to finish is a big disappointment. Oh well lessen learned. :(

If the mummy did not sell out and everyone started cancelling orders I could see EB going bust.

But that fresh £33k pumped in will keep them alive for now. Now they need to put up the next exclusive in three months ready for order and use that fresh cash to pay off the mummy.

And it keeps going, borrowing money essentially.

There biggest issue is not getting the orders shipped and leaves them open for cancellations. Even with the money from mummy they are still shipping as slow as a snail.

I cant believe they are not even sealed.

The slipped steels are not required to be sealed individually as the law only requires the slipbox to be sealed over the J-card with the BBFC stamps http://www.bbfc.co.uk/industry-services/video/labelling-regulations
If you want individually sealed slipcased steelbooks then buy them separately. Only reason for the seal is to keep the J-card with the steelbook as without the BBFC stamps the item cannot legally be sold by the retailer.

Expecting the same set-up with THE MUMMY TRILOGY Blubox

Also no different to KILLER KLOWNS as that was an existing Arrow steelbook unsealed inside the sealed slipcase:-

RE: HERMES - To my knowledge NO bluboxes have been damaged in transit so the issue appears to be more the lack of facility to collect from branch than anything else.

I thought the red zombie hand on the back of the box looked pretty cool and quality what with the spot gloss and 'bossing . . . with the blood dripping effect . . . and although the white would've gone better with the white on the front and on the spine of the Blubox I'm thinking that the effect would not have been so effective and even dare I say cheap-looking in comparison:-

. . . and thanks to the always first class photos provided by steelmybeatingheart the glossed hand looks almost white under the right lighting conditions and miles better than the original discarded idea:-

Mismatched numbers is a bummer, unacceptable . . . a big no-no in fact . . . and would be reason enough for me to return the item for a refund.

As I need to spell it out  . . . "Meaningless pictures of damaged boxes" refers to the fact that photos of superficial damage to the oversized outer packing box are meaningless . . . as in. now let me tale it slow so you and yours can understand, said damage has absolutely no relationship to the contents which are packed extremely well.
Now, If someone stood on the outer box and then jumped up and down on it resulting in a flattened Blubox and photographed that damage then I'd understand the point . . . yes siree.
As it stands, it's a slightly ripped outer box and nothing more and if you can't grasp that fact there's little more I can say on the subject.

. . . and anyway what's premium / non-premium got to do with the point being made :arghh:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
N.B. Still waiting for pics of damaged Bluboxes  of which there must be more than a few if Hermes is such a low down dirty courier :watch:

Slightly ripped outer box?? The box in that pic was TRASHED. Had to be held together with tape!

What's premium/non premium release got to do with it? Well let me "take this slow" for "you and yours" in the same condescending manner that you used...... When someone treats themselves to an item that's a little more expensive than, ooh let's say, a zavvi release? There's a little more emphasis on the item arriving safely. Premium releases aren't always a dime a dozen and readily available to be replaced if courier delivers a damaged product.

YES, YES. Right on point. Bravo.
Then again, after this long wait I would probably settle for a damaged copy. Sad, huh?:meh:

Lordy, lordy . . . the WHOLE POINT of my post is that there are NO DAMAGED bluboxes being delivered because the Bluboxes are packed exceptionally well inside EBlu's special patented packaging.
It matters not a jot that the oversized packing boxes are superficially damaged (i.e. not flattened) as the friggin contents are safe as safe can be. Just prove me wrong and show me a Blubox damaged in transit.

BTW, you some king of wind-up merchant or something or are you just being deliberately obtuse . . . or even ribbing me just to improve your "thanks/thumbs up" from like minded souls?

If there are "like minded souls" don't you think that says more about your attitude on this forum towards "premium elitists" as you called us a few pages back?

This is not about the law and regulations and doing the bare minimum lol

It's about a new company impressing its customers and sealing theirs singles in the box. They do want us to return and buy again right?

So start sealing them like every single other established retailer and stop being a cheap skate for Christ sake.

Anyone seriously surprised by the crappy quality? It was very evident from the start. People are too easily fooled and swallow anything thrown their way.. The whole package feels cheap just by looking at the mockups. kek. But with such a low price, its not like you can expect any high quality premium product to begin with. It was never going to be in the same league as HDZeta, Manta, Kimchi or Blufans.

@AcIDc0r3 to be fair to @Punker76 - @virkia constant pontification is one of the reasons I rarely post here nowadays (made an exception for here as I ordered the product). He/she hasn't even ordered one, so it's entirely reasonable to expect someone who has to become irked when they're constantly preached to (along with a menagerie of pointless images).
PM's have been exchanged, thanks. :)

Have you actually got the package in hand? No, it's not the same quality as a Manta but I wasn't expecting it to be...My main focus is on the WEA Steels then the slips / goodies...Also, remember, this is 1/3 in the trilogy and I'll be getting the other 2.

Regarding this SotD release can someone kindly confirm or correct the following details:
- 4,000 steelbooks (exclusive in the U.K. to EBlu)
or . . .
- 3,500 steelbooks (exclusive in the U.K. to EBlu)

- Numbered Cards from 001 - 2,000

- 500 Bluboxes w/ exclusive low numbered cards (#001 - 500) and on both editions inside
- 500 Bluboxes w/out numbered cards (?)
- 1,500 Lenticular slipcases w/ numbered cards (501 - 2,000)
- 1,500 Slipcases w/ numbered cards (501 - 2,000)

- 500 Steelbooks left over . . . to be sold as steelbooks only . . . by EBlu (or when exclusivity runs out by some other retailer such as Zavvi)

Surely it would be a 4000 steel run with all taken up with the releases from EBlu.

500 Bluboxes = 1000 steels
1500 Fullslips = 1500 steels
1500 Lentis = 1500 steels
For a total of 4000 steels.
