If he's big enough to take people's money he should be big enough to take some flak. It's not good to see someone he personally knows coming here and reacting like this. It only tarnishes the brand. I think most people here wanted and still want EB to do well so find all of this inappropriate. I was looking forward to future releases, specifically Casino, but your friend may have just lost another customer.

This is like waiting for Godot. Mine maybe despatched a week ago, but still not here though, and when I see how many orders are still unfulfilled it is so sad, now it´s really not funny anymore, big facepalm here :facepalm::facepalm:

OK now Im seriously pissed off. Looks like my package is on its way back to UK after two failed delivery attempts. I was at work both times of course, but there wasn´t even option to arrange a time of delivery suitible for me, but what I absolutely don´t understand is why the hell it´s on the way back already?? Why it doesn´t stay at post office for a few days for pick up? Unbelievable. Im really thinking about cancellation now coz all about this release is so f*cking ridiculous!

What was the duration when they tried to deliver first and second time and then returning this? Seems like a few days and then gets shipped back?? Pretty poor to be honest. They should hold it for around a couple of weeks and you can make arrangements for delivery if you cant pick up locally.

First delivery attempt was yesterday, they left a card with info that they will come back today (but no time), and today no card whatsoever and in tracking I see its on the way back to sender, BUT after another look I see that sender address is "Retouradres: PostNL - Eurodis retouren" so possibly it will come back tomorrow to my post office point for pick up. But normally they leave a note after second delivery attempt with info that I can pick it up next working day, but they left nothing today, so Im really confused. Will see tomorrow what happen.

Hermes isn't mail so for UK has nothing to do with our postal mail. So we can't go and collect from our local post office. If we did it will have to be a local Hermes office which doesn't exist as they return the parcels back anyway.

Yea well I think this will be the same case then. What a stupid service.
 
cant believe your delivery systems are so bad over there. Our postal gives us option for redelivery or go to post and pick it up. Same with UPS, FedEx. Most times we can sign for things online and they will leave it as well. Never would it get sent back though

Royal Mail are fine, they do all you mentioned and keep it for 18 days (I think) so plenty on time to go pick it up or arrange re delivery to the original address or new address
 
Post.nl is also fine, fast deliveries, working on saturdays etc., but this returning must have been "ordered" by originator or how to say it, which should be Hermes right? And EB said on FB to me that they have nothing to do with this. So I don´t know, but still really hope it will show up tomorrow yet.

Is it Post NL delivering the parcel? If so, what's stopping you going to the local delivery office and asking?
