Bet they will try charging more than £15 for this too! :hilarious:

Although I wouldn't even give them a fiver for it!

Artwork is ok to me, but as you can see a better cropping could make some difference

Good point! The cropping of the image is the only thing I have a problem with and that can easily be fixed, so hopefully they can at least do something about that. Whether they just move the image to the left slightly (like you've shown in your mock-up), or reduce the size of the image so his entire face fits on... both would be an improvement imo.

In the first one there's a classic crop with a bit of "air" on the right/top-right that uncounsciously suggest the observer to turn a page (or open the steel here)

In the second one you can see a better match with the spine and that continuous black could help creating a full linked artwork on the back (maybe another big head looking at marv when the steel is opened)

the problem with hdn these days is that people are so narrow minded. and completely crippled from a creative standpoint.

i applaud the decision to create a design that references the style of both the movie and the comic it spawned from. if you came into this hoping to see jessica alba slapped on the cover you enjoy this film for the wrong reasons. and i'm glad you dont wana buy it , because those who do, will buy it appreciating the film and its heritage.

I'm kinda starting to agree with you.

But this artwork isn't perfect in my opinion though, it needs a title and maybe that picture is just little bit too close. Some cropping could make it look better. But I'm certainly happy it wasn't just another Jessica Alba.

I like your thinking. Hopefully Zavvi are listening! ;)
