If the packaging was intact but the product inside is damaged to any degree then it was obviously sent out in that condition which is unacceptable.

If the Steelbook has any damage and that's includes the Jcard its classified as damaged
You have rights under the sale of goods act and also under Distance selling rules (Online Purchases)
You have the right to open your purchase and inspect it to see if its fit for purpose
If you notice any damage after you inspected as in fully unwrapped you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund
When you purchase any product it must be in perfect condition and fit for its purpose and be as described in the description of goods for sale
Any damage to your purchase is classified as not fit for its purpose unless you were informed of this in its description of goods for sale
The only exception would be the Packaging it arrived in that can be damaged but not its contents as that's the purpose of packaging to protect the contents
