Mine's just turned up, can't remember who made the comparison with World War Z (ES) for whiteness but that could not be less accurate! :hilarious: This is silver with bare metal, nothing like World War Z! I'm keeping it, purely for the uncut extended version of the film but if this wasn't my favourite movie ever it would be going straight back! :ugh:

That was me :emb:

I only had a quick glance and just got back for a second inspection.

I stand corrected. At best it's grey. Still not opened and think it will be going back :(

So the steelbook is fine, but you're sending it back?

I'm curious if you received one like that would you risk opening it? Bear in mind that once you open it you cannot send it back.

If the packaging was intact but the product inside is damaged to any degree then it was obviously sent out in that condition which is unacceptable.

That's incorrect you can send it back

If the Steelbook has any damage and that's includes the Jcard its classified as damaged
You have rights under the sale of goods act and also under Distance selling rules (Online Purchases)
You have the right to open your purchase and inspect it to see if its fit for purpose
If you notice any damage after you inspected as in fully unwrapped you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund

When you purchase any product it must be in perfect condition and fit for its purpose and be as described in the description of goods for sale
Any damage to your purchase is classified as not fit for its purpose unless you were informed of this in its description of goods for sale
The only exception would be the Packaging it arrived in that can be damaged but not its contents as that's the purpose of packaging to protect the contents

Online Purchases
Even if its not damaged
you have your rights under the distance selling rule and the sales of goods act to return your purchase as unwanted item and ask for a full refund
There is a return policy with all retailers for unwanted item and time period you need to act this must be offered with all purchases you order

Online purchases you have the right to cancel before and after its been delivered to you
Cooling off period which is usually 7 days with some been 14 days to return unwanted orders after you get delivery

Online purchases No Return Policy is illegal if goods arrived damaged under Distance Selling Rules unless you were informed of the exact damage in its description of goods for sale before you gave payment

Your Rights
If your purchased goods are damaged you are covered fully under the sales of goods act and are entitled to a Replacement or Repair if possible or a full Refund this is your statuary rights and cannot be ignored by the seller this covers all online purchases including ebay and High Street Purchases
All purchases must as described under the sales of goods act
So if the seller knows its already damaged the consumer must be told this in its description of goods for sale and if the consumer is not informed of this damage then when it arrives damaged a refund or replacement must be offered

Sin City now back in stock on Zavvi's website, but they have stooped to a new low on eBay where they have upped the price to £29.99! They also have more than 420 in stock, which is just under a quarter of the original "ultra limited" print run.
