Does this come with it's own set of paint pots and brushes? :naughty:

All it needs is some numbers in the boxes for the colours......:hilarious:

the problem with hdn these days is that people are so narrow minded. and completely crippled from a creative standpoint.

i applaud the decision to create a design that references the style of both the movie and the comic it spawned from. if you came into this hoping to see jessica alba slapped on the cover you enjoy this film for the wrong reasons. and i'm glad you dont wana buy it , because those who do, will buy it appreciating the film and its heritage.

Well that is terrible. Just terrible. Was really hoping this would be something special. Was holding out on the alba and Dawson covers. Looks like now at some point I will get one of them if not both.

(And I like the graphic novels and the art in them but it's just not working on this!)

I think if they zoomed out a bit and aligned the art a bit differently I would like it, as it stands I just cannot see myself liking this unless it has some crazy nice finishing effect to it.

I've said it many times before and i'll say it again, it is about selecting the best available artwork. This is awful in my opinion and i'm not one the guys that was hoping for a half naked Jessica Alba on the cover. Yes the art is from the comics and has been approved by the director, but that doesn't mean it is good or suits the cover of a Steelbook. I applaud Lionsgate for trying something different, but in this instance they have got it wrong.

"Artwork authorized by Robert Rodriguez"

Yeah....I'm sure he did

Probably thought he was singing an autograph or something

"What.....signature....sure sure, whatever....here you go, now leave me alone"

It seems so rushed, it's like they just randomly picked an image from the comics to copy and slapped it on the steelbook frame cover, I mean look at the size....way too big.

If they were doing characters from the comic then all of them should of been on it a nice Collage

I like what they're doing it could be sweet, because it would look amazing with the graphic novels. The cropping is off though. If they could reduce the size of the face to feature maybe a neck it could be good. But then again there so are many great images from Frank Miller's artwork that could work miles better than this. I'm thinking of some of the silhouettes of the bad ass old town girls!

With all the amazing artwork in the graphic novels, I can't believe they've chosen this! If that's the route they wanted to go down they could have at least picked one of the good drawings!!

I don't like this purely because it's a steelbook of the film, not of a cartoon - so the artwork should match the content IMO.

And this is my favourite film of all time too! So Disappointed! :(

I'll probably still buy it though :hilarious:
