designed by somebody who obviously skipped the 'principles of composition' class.

With this and I Saw The Devil both being utterly dreadful I seriously do not hold out much hope anymore for Scream, Clerks or Drag Me To Hell being anything other than cheaply produced matte steels with very simple and poor artwork.

I might be proved wrong but I doubt it! Seriously pee'd off!

The metalpak is crap
First canadian had a blu banner
German was flat and matte
New us one was glossy but flat
There is definitly room for improvement and the only people moaning are the ones who cant be bothered to sell what they already have. No one is forcing you to buy this

So, do you think Zavvi's release is a big improvement over the previous ones? ;) :p

I really do hope they are reading this thread, as it is about 95% outright hatred for this art! lol

and 50% of those hating comments are from spoiled kids who don't have any basis to judge an interesting (or a wrong) "only on paper" artwork on their own (lack of thought suggestions is the proof) but demand to decide everything.
People who don't know anything about stupid clients (Lionsgate?) requests and choices or about the bloody approval steps. I'm pretty sure lot of guys here didn't even know that was an original portrait from Frank Miller's comic.

I'm not crazy about it, but it's surely something different and with the right improvements, the revealed back and a good finish this will be nice at the end.
Probably I won't buy it, but i always prefer suggesting and solving "problems" than crying&bitching ;)

There's no need for insults and bad language on this forum! ;) I'm sure several people on here have already contacted Zavvi with suggestions directly including myself.

Hmm, I wonder if Zavvi's warehouse is large enough to store 2,000 unwanted Sin City steelbooks...

1990 odd anyway :hilarious:

where are bad language and insults mate?
i suggested only to be more thought and constructive on the critics!
I feel just a bit bad for the poor designer that's working with the triple approval ghost (zavvi headquarter, Lionsgate and Frank Miller for the possible/usable art) behind him

WTF is that and where the hell is the real artwork!!!

Honestly, it's crap like this that makes me want to ditch my entire collection and give up the steelbook game.

Why would one bad steel put you off 100 amazing ones?? It's like One Direction putting you off Opera music or TOWIE putting you off all other tv shows?? :D
