Hello and welcome to my Star Wars themed mancave. As you can see I am a huge fan of both Star Wars Trilogies. The statues you see here are from Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format line. The collection itself is still very much a collection in progress, I couldn't tell you when I'll be finished but I do know that I am not done yet and I still have more statues on the way and I also have more posters/prints that will be added once they are framed.

The cabinets you see here are from Ikea, but all the parts are sold separately. The units themselves are called Besta, the doors are called Sindvik, and the interior lights are called Stotta.

In addition to the Star Wars collection the room features a Samsung 46" 3D LED TV, a Samsung HT-E5400 3D Home Theater System, as well as a Sony PS3 and a PS4.

How much stuff do you have stored in the closet?

I'm really happy with the way I've got one in each cube, to me it makes them look even more expensive LOL. I can't guarantee every cube will stay this way though, I really don't have room for another besta so I'll eventually have to put 2 on a shelf for some once I get more SW PFs.

LOL! I use Chrome and I'm not sure if I've ever missed posting even though it says I have. I also use my phone probably 1 in every 40 posts I make and I've never seen any error messages with those, although they are probably spelled so horribly they don't even make sense to you LOL.

For me I'd say that Hugh Jackman has given the most to any superhero character that has ever been put on screen. He's played Wolverine 7 times already and has dedicated so much of his career and his body to the character. And he's still not done yet. I love all of the Marvel movies from all of the studios but the X-Men ones are still my favs.

Must be nice to be able to do this on your phone. I'm still in the frikkin' dark ages over here. My wife and kids all have smart phones, but my cell still has buttons you push, LOL! I actually have to sit at my PC to do FB, here, Twitter, Youtube, etc. Sometimes I'm here for 2 straight hours just catching up.

IMO, it makes it look so much better and alot cleaner than how I have mind set up. I've often thought about making all the cubes single PF displays and moving the extras into the closet with the rest of the overflow, but then I can never figure which ones to move, and I just give up.

As of now, I have:

1:1 busts - Vader, Bossk, Greedo, Yoda, Ackbar, and Palpatine.
PF's - Scout on Speederbike, and General Grievous
Dio's - Ambush on Hoth, Anakin vs Ventress, Anakin vs Obi-Wan, Duel of the Fates, Yoda vs Dooku, Diplomatic Mission dio, and I think that is it.

Sometimes when there is only one of a particular one up for sale on eBay that everyone has been looking months for, I have sometimes seen them sell for a grand . But the same can go for SW PFs. Prices can really fluctuate on those. Like Maul for example, I've seen the original sell anywhere from $300 to $700.

I guess I'd keep buying the stuff when it comes out so I could make sure I could get the best price on it, and then worry about how to display it later. I think I might have a problem LOL.

How awesome would that be! I told my wife that if we ever won the lottery, we wouldn't buy a mansion. Instead, we would have a warehouse made big enough to house a couple exotic cars, a few bikes, boat, helicopter, and have a loft on one end with a mini-museum on the other.

So, I did watch the new FF4 that night. It's not as bad, IMO, as alot of people have said. It's very cliche, but I was entertained. I do like the original 2 better simply because, well, Chris Evans. The guy who played Doom was better in the new one than Julian was in the OG FF4, and how he used his power to escape was just awesome and brutal! Also, FWIW, Kate Mara is smokin' hot! I love Alba, but damn Mara is just so smokin' hot! LOL!

I'd rent it if I were you. You're a bigger comic fan than I am, and I'd like to hear what you think.

I have seen them and I want them! BADLY! I have done a complete 180 on that movie after the latest trailer they released (the one that was highly Batman focused) and now I am getting pretty excited about seeing the movie. These 1:2 scales from Prime 1 are going to use the translucent paint that SS was supposed to use on Obi-Wan but supposedly couldn't. (I think they just cheaped out lol). Also DC Collectibles is releasing 1:6 scale statues for Suicide Squad and they are going to use the translucent paint on the skin too. Suicide Squad is one of my most anticipated movies of the year.

Which reminds me, my "insider" friend who told me about Starkiller Base, yadda yadda, said that his partner was at that toyfair in Singapore and saw that Vader display XM had. He also said, after showing him the new SS Vader, that I am going to want to wait for XM's. Apparently, it is that good.

I wish P1 would take over all of the licenses SS has, right now they are my favorite company. I've got to get at least one piece from them. The BvS 1:2's are $2K a piece, but if these turn out how they look now, I think I could at least see some of the argument for why these cost that much. Although I still think $2K is too much. There are no swap-out parts either.

That is a very good question. One that would never really be answered by SS. They would say they couldn't get it to work right, but the truth would be they make more money by using the old method and upping the prices.

Well I'm glad the ES on the Obi-Wan LSF ended up being super low, at least the customers sent a message to SS that they wouldn't drop $2K on that sub-par thing.

And, you'd think SS would listen and learn, but instead of upping their game, they just decide not to release anything SW related for a while and move on to other licenses; and, in a way, punishing Star Wars collectors for Sideshows mistakes.
