Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Ooooh, this is going to be funny, if its 1 per customer the 'bayers will be in the sh!t, especially those who've sold a truckload already.

If its true, hahahahahahahahahahah (while pointing), but its harsh at the same time because although I dont condone it, its essentially done throughout every business model in the last 25 years, supply and demand dictates the price and profits. i always choose super saver as it normally gets to me day after release. First class just isnt worth it.

Yeah it does say this but hardly ever true buddy, same goes for prime membership.

This is how it should be, same for other retailers (with exception of group buys of course). The only time a Steelbook sells out so quickly is when the eBay resellers have bought up all the stock. If they did this everytime it would give people plenty of chance to preorder. It would also allow for replacements and there would be none of this "I've ordered five to make sure I get a mint one" crap (even though Amazon's packaging is mostly adequate now).
