People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

My 2nd copy of Skyfall just arrived and i was very shocked to see it arrived mint. I traded my other copy at the weekend for a New/mint Predator so i was kinda worried that when my other one arrived it would be damaged. Im so glad its mint

Which she deserved. It was a great song and she has a amazing voice. I just don't like how they had her sing later on after they had celebrated "bond" which was lame.

Got my replacement copy today. First one was basically mint sept for this one little mark. Happy to say though 2nd copy is mint, no slashed spine or anything, and my postie lobbed it over into my back garden in the rain which wasn't appreciated.

Received mine today. Haevy rain in my town. Amazon box damage coz the rain. BUT item in good condition with Taken 2. No spine slash on my Skyfall

Received a copy for a friend today, but unfortunately it has the blue line on the spine ...It isn't really that noticable (and it's better than a spine slash), but seeing my other one received 100% mint, this feels rather lame.

This is kinda strange, I ordered 2, both dispatched (in separate packaging) on Feb 15th. I recieved the first one on Feb 18, which is probably the best turn-around I've ever got from amazon uk--->Chicago, IL USA. The second one still has not arrived, and had a delivery estimate date of Feb 25th. I emailed Amazon UK yesterday, and they want me to wait another week before chalking it up to customs losing the package. Very strange though, and I did choose to combine the shipping, does amazon uk not ship steelbooks together anymore with their new packaging?

They are sending them separate if it's cheaper for them to do so.

I just got my copy yesterday, so I wouldn't lose hope yet.

And then there's that funny thing about where your package happens to be in the shipping container. I'm serious, if they are in the back, then they are the last to get processed by US Customs and reshipped out to you in the USA.

Got that little nugget from the one US Postal Regional Director I spoke with a couple years back. I don't know how I got her number, but probably just lucky I guess.
