Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

I went in for a GB for the Australian version, thought it might be fun to own my first Australian steel but this one comes out a month sooner and is cheaper gall darn it do I want both or not. I could get that cool North by Northwest instead if I wanted arghhhhhhhhh

At least we know this is guaranteed the same inside artwork as the French one, I was always worried why the German version was not showing it.

Steelbook wise there should nothing, unless FOX Germany give that steelbook a printed text backcover.

Discs could have different subtitles/audiotracks.

Yeah. It's been said many times in many threads that HMV cancelled all preorders.

I've only been collecting steelbooks for a short time and I always buy a few when I can to trade for others I'm still looking for.
I managed to get a sealed Star Trek UK steelbook that way instead of paying a stupid amount for one of evil bay.
