Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

While I was in do doubt over what people were saying, there's nothing so comforting as receiving your own confirmation.

As Skyfall and Taken 2 both became Amazon exclusives, HMV couldn't fulfill the order no matter what, but Resident Evil: Retribution (now confirmed as being in stores this week) was a different matter.

RE5 is Sony and this one is Fox-MGM + Sony though the former got more control over distribution.

No problem, I just think the guy you spoke to must have incorrect info. Once it's an Amazon exclusive I'm pretty sure they can't sell it anywhere else, I know this is a strange situation though with them having it originally.

I ain't sure where he got this from but he is a legitimate ebayer has i've used him plenty of time's for the last 9 months and it's where i get all my best buy steelbooks and viva's from and US standard blu-rays.

Not sure if that's an import though because there's no age rating logo one the box or disc, unless they went dark knight rises with this one if you ow what I mean

It must be an import because of the missing logo's and slim case. I still want to see pics of this before I buy it. I think there will be plenty of stock of this.
