Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Might be worth doing if you have 2 minutes as every little helps

Just to confirm, I sent an e-mail about that last night and got a reply back stating they've adjusted the price to that. Well worth a try if you wanna save £3 and 10p.

It must be an import because of the missing logo's and slim case. I still want to see pics of this before I buy it. I think there will be plenty of stock of this.

It is a US copy doubtful its stolen.

There are ways to get your hands on copies in advance. There is even a site you can pay where you can usually receive 2-3 weeks in advance of release HOWEVER you will pay double the cost or more


Back on topic I'm guessing we will only see some steelbook pics once a luck member here gets it? I have a copy on order do they usually ship sooner for people overseas.

Amazon just dropped the price for me and even let me keep my sneaky NUS discount on there too. 11.30 is pretty darn good for any steelbook. All I did was email them.

Sorry to hear that , it's unfair how some are getting it and some are not all depending on who you speak to or whoever responds to your message, very unprofessional. They should stick to a protocol, not one rule for one & one rule for another.

What is this priced reduction you all are talking about. Does everyone qulify? I have an order in for the last few days.
