It seems that way, as some of the Amazon merchant sellers whose stock is directly supplied and held by Amazon are specifically mentioning they have them. Prices start at about $120

This is what I got from YA in reply to my email:

Dear Hilal,

Regarding Order 7185951, we are sorry that the item "Skyfall Blu-ray Edition [Steelbook Edition] (Blu-ray)(First Press Limited Edition) (Japan Version)" is confirmed Out of Stock by the supplier.

Kindly note that as our supplier does not only provide their products to one company, the stock status depends on the supplier very much. In case the item is confirmed out of stock after an order is placed, the item had to be cancelled. We sincerely apologize for this.

What a fu$€#*g joke, might as well & not preorder & take the risk elsewhere like on eBay or forums than this BS. That's it for me with YA.

I think YA have lost a lot of trust and good will over this. They should never have advertised the stock unless they were confirmed an allocation. It seems they just put it up for order then tried to get it later. Obviously they're not to be relied upon as a supplier.

Got the same cancellation notice. Unreliable? Yes absolutely! Even when Amz.jp had them in stock I went with yesasia only because of there shipping. Oh well, saves me $50 i guess....

eBay is your friend now unless there is someone holding multiple copies will to sell at a reasonable price. The only JP Steels I got from YA are Blade 1 and 2 and I must admit I was lucky as they took 3 weeks to fulfull my order.

I can get it from a merchant seller, but not prepared to be scalped for £96.00 !!!
Just have to make sure I pre order everything from amazon.jp in future, and not wait to make up my mind if I want it or not.

Lesson learned the hard way, would've gladly paid customs tax to have this in hand now.
Yesasia just lost all my custom to Jsdvd.
As highlighted above, yesasia have clearly not bothered securing any stock but happily taken people's money upfront. Not cool.

I thought YA doesn't take money upfront. Are you sure? Never seen them doing this. Did you pay by PayPal?

This is the risk of buying JP Steels at YA who themselves are dependent on a supplier that gets a small slice of the print run.

Maybe these are stocked at JSDVD like the Batman Steels.
