There was more darkness around the top & bottom edges if I recall. Seems to be a greater area of fog on the design here.

Can't really be certain with the low resolution images but the type setting for the title looked better on the older version, pops quite well on the solid black background versus the mixed mist/moonlight. Much more to my liking than the white media/steel book design though.

This is way better than that book thing. But if it’s streaky matte then that black/white artwork will look awful.

I bought the Zavvi one 10 years ago, it's fully glossy, but inside image is black and white of Ichabod Crane.
Back is not the same, has only the two characters and Heads Will Roll in red - there's no foggy ground and trees. Front has the title at the bottom, and it looks darker, more black IRL.
