Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

My SC6 sleeves for jumbos arrived today from Steelbook Central. Thought I'd take a few pics and leave my thoughts.

Looks good from the front:

And from the rear spine:

And the top (glue line) :

It's a bit looser than I'd like. The listing states that they're suitable for sealed and unsealed steels, well all of mine are unsealed so I was expecting a bit of a loose fit anyway. The bottom line is smooth and I forced a tight fit all the way around so I could form this 'bubble', showing the excess:

All in all it seems great, the first jumbo sleeves from a UK seller and only £10 for 10 (inc postage). A little loose but that doesn't majorly bother me and if you keep yours sealed then I can't imagine you'll even notice.

I've only got 3 jumbos so I've got 7 sleeves left! Enough for LOTR 2 & 3, Hobbit 2 & 3 and Walking Dead season 4 and still have 2 left :D

I just took receipt of a bunch of SCF1s and one pack of 10 SC6 from Steelbook Central. The SCF1s are great - I really like them. I was surprised, however, that the SC6 would not fit my Best Buy Lord of the Rings Trilogy Jumbo Steelbook (sealed). I can get it about 1/2" into the slip, but I would not risk forcing it any further.

That being said, the SC6s seem fairly nice, although I have not had a chance to actually try them because that LOTR is the only jumbo I own.

Got some steel shells in the mail today from blu-steels.com over in Germany after seeing a YT video recommending them. They're really sleek and nice looking and only leave the spines of the steelbook unprotected as they sit on your shelf. Only downside is having to put them together as they all come shipped flat. Not a huge deal though. All you have to do is make some folds and fold in some flaps. Here's how they look covering a steel, halfway off, and with all my steels on the shelf.

Just knowing they're protected now instead of jammed up against each other potentially getting scratched makes me feel better.

I'm looking for some particular poly bags. The ones with the "notches" down the sides. I know there's a guy that sells them on eBay, but I've lost the link. Does anyone have the link or somewhere else I could find these? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Here's a pic of one of the sides with the "notches" I was talking a about.

THANKS AGAIN!!!

Personally, been using the SC3 slip covers from steelbook central. Free first class delivery too!

Only got to ordering 20 so far, but they already make my collection look more classy The bags annoy me. I open my steels, so even more so.

What are they like for open steels without J cards mate? I normally use the SC2's which are very snug but they are out of stock at present of those. :)

Still no sc2 at steelbook central, man of steel reckon mid June before they get any in stock, just got a pack of 10 jumbos myself from sc and pretty good, but I'm fast running out of sc2's surely they can't be that hard to get hold of?

It's probably just demand outweighing supply! Or the scalpers are trying a few new business ventures "oh if I can make 25P off each 5 sold" :hilarious:

Now I've tried these, im addicted. They make such a difference. Always feel a bit silly showing off my collection and explaining about the bags! :D

Steelbook central get them custom made in batches for themselves.

Spoke to them on eBay couple of weeks ago and yep SC2's are their biggest seller and will be back in stock later in the month.
