Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

A very quick delivery by steelbook central! Just got them tonight and so far, so good! The SCF2 sleeves look great on my Blufans Pacific Rim and Nova Captain America: The Winter Soldier fullslip.

Hi Everyone,

We are looking to make a list for collector's, to let them know what steels will fit either our SCF1 or SCF2 slipcovers. We get so many emails every day asking what kimchi, blu-fans and novamedia steels fit our slipcovers and as we only have a few ourselves, would be great to get some help if possible

Any suggestions for the following steels w/ slips?

Drive - Novamedia Lenticular Slip
The Pianist - Kimchidvd Lenticular Slip
The Wrestler - Plain Archive Full Slip

For regular steelbooks I use the steel shells from blusteels, but the ones w/ slips don't fit and was wondering if anyone else had a problem deciding how to keep them covered.

edit- Looks like SCF2 for The Wrestler and SCF1 for The Pianist according to the post above. Anyone else have any thoughts?

No other thoughts needed, I have tried and tested all of them which is why I posted as above ;)

Fair enough but I noticed those are fully enclosed. Are there any that size that are just 3/4ths? If not, would you suggest SCF1 or SCF2 for Drive Lenticular?

In any event it just sucks that you have to get 10 of them. I only need 1 of one kind and 2 of the other.

Hi! I really want to protect my Disney steelbooks in this kind of plastic sleeve, but for the life of me I cannot find any anywhere that will ship to Norway. Do you have a direct link for the ones you use? :)
@bludabadee ,
Hey man check out Steelbook-Central on the bay...all sizes. A little pricey on shipping to me in the states, but you might fare better. The cost is about $1 per. More or less... I love em..

Thanks KingSteelie, some great pics there.

Cheers - I'm going to go and purchase some.

Do you know if there are any discount vouchers for first time purchases from Steelbook Central??

Also, I cant tell how the SCF1 closes? Its the fully enclosed one (which im thinking of going for) but is it a lip? I cant see a lip from the image on their eBay listing

The SCF1 apparently fits pretty much every steelbook, be it sealed, j-card or "loose fit" on unsealed ones (anyone know how loose we're talking?)

Seems a genius way to protect my collection - having already had my daughter paint chip my Aladdin :(

Morning All,

Just been looking at the protective sleeves and wondering, which ones are the best for me – and what offers the best level of discount (nothing worse than the price not changing when you buy 10 times as many!)

Noticed that their prices are a lot cheaper on their website – but then postage has to be added – which is weight specific too.

So thought id put together the chart below, which shows the price reduction as you go up in quantities (on both their site – and eBay) but also a comparison between their site prices and their eBay price.

Which is pretty surprising, because their site price is sometimes less than 10% cheaper than eBay – where on eBay they’ll be getting charged 10% FVF (or perhaps cheaper because they’re a business account) but they’ll be getting hit with PayPal 3.5%+25p too (again, possibly less based on account) but I would have thought their site would’ve been cheaper by more.

But for example, I opted for 100x SCF1 via their website, because it offered the greatest reduction on quantity – and compared to their eBay price – it was the biggest drop.

Hi,

These have a tuck in from the top and bottom, they are very easy to assemble and offer the best in overall protection. If you look on page 57 i have uploaded pics of some of my collection inside the SCF1. The SCF1 will not fit every steelbook on the market as some of the kimchi and blu-fans full slip steels are too big, so we have the SCF2 for them.
