Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Can you buy those clear plastic slipcovers for steelbooks that you get on some PS3 steels?

saw some on ebay those are awesome, about the same protection level as the hard case and they make it easier to get to the steel to open and watch the movie than the sleeves.

If anyone is still interested, my card steelbook sleeves will be with me next Monday. Looking forward to distributing them.

Are you still about selling these? I've seen something like this on eBay but thought they were a bit expensive.

What sort of prices are you offering?

And do they fit over unopened steels?

So what are the best ones to buy?

Need to start protecting my steelbook collection as it's rapidly growing.

There's a few different types, I prefer the ones with the resealable flap as they allow you to open and reseal without using any tape. I buy mine on eBay, I find the Size can differ between bags though so you may have to try a few to see which you like best. I usually order the smallest amount and if I like the bags I order more.

All the ones on Ebay look the same. I've ordered some.

Just looked at the cardboard ones on there. I know they are probably better, but cost a lot and don't like the idea of completely covering the front/back.

Yeah I thought that but I have found some are a little smaller than others. I'm not too sure about the cardboard cases, I think they hide the Steel away too much and I would imagine over time the cardboard might flex and bow maybe. I think I prefer the poly bags myself.

where can i get jumbo sleeves? i dont need normal sleeves included, got a enough of them.

They are tricky, there aren't really any bags that are a perfect fit for jumbo steels. A lot of people use ziplock freezer bags but they don't look great!

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section, but does anybody know a good and reliable place to get slipcovers for steelbooks?

i have a few steelbooks with additional slipcovers but the sleeves i use for my steelbooks are too small to fit those , anyone has a suggestion which sleeves i can buy that fit steelbooks with slipcovers? thanks for the help ;)

You could try some on ebay from Steelbook Central. The bags there are slightly bigger and can fit in additional slipcovers.

Hi mate yes I can recommend the sleeves sold by steelbook central they are very good although not the cheapest on the bay you get what you pay for if you want something more substantial there is a seller in the UK called slipsteel he sells proper sturdy clear plastic sleeves for steel books ideal for the. More expensive items although they cost 7.00 plus postage for ten hope this helps

I have bought from steelbook central on ebay as posted above linked and they are good quality haven't had one split or tear yet also have looked at the American site myself but never ordered them if it helps I have just placed order number to with sc today I'm happy with his sleeves. Must say tho comparing his and the American sleeves visually they are definitely different sleeves
