Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Dubliner1, thanks have asked them when/if they will do jumbo shells:LOL:
Hopefully won't be too long for an answer

Took a while to get them all done (63 in total) and some of the semi-circle bits push the steels out slightly which is bloody annoying. Don't know how I'm going to stop that happening.[/QUOTE]

The weight of the steelbook pushed in against the spine with the tabs helps flatten out the tabs after a while. Also, if you bend the tabs back and forth a few times before inserting them it helps flatten them.

I did both - I even left them lying horizontally overnight to stop it happening. It's clear that the tabs arent supposed to be folded down flush with the spine, they're supposed to go flush with the side of the shell instead.

I see what you're saying- they work well that way too. The tabs don't catch on the steelbook as you slide it in and out.
How much did you get them for? The price on these German steel-shells seems to have dropped too and if you add the 5% new customer discount I think it's very affordable. Have to get me some more soon! :scat:

The 77 shells cost me £53. Definitely expensive, perhaps next time I'll go with the movie-style ones.

I think those ones you have to tape the flap on the spine down otherwise it will scratch the steelbook as you insert/remove it. I've asked a few times for pics but no luck so far.

Got some shells delivered earlier in the week and i have to say they are very good, they are slighlty bigger than the other hard cases i have tried so the steels fit better.

They allow you to slide the steels in and out :naughty: much easier and also work better with the Lenticulars which were tight fit in the other cases.

The only downside is the cost but they do the job

As Wootball mentioned above, it might be better to have the 2 folding tabs folded so they appear on the back of the steelbook, and not folded flat onto the closed spine side as mentioned in the video earlier.
The steelbooks may sit better that way. I'll show some updated pics later.
