Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?

Steelbook Central have now started to sell SCF1 Fully Enclosed Blu-ray Steelbook Protective Slipcovers. I received an email from them the other day so am going to give them a go.

SCF1 Steelbook Central Covers

I received a sample of the new SCF1 steelbook protective case from Steelbook Central and it is fantastic! I have tried it with a range of steelbooks, from different companies and with different size J-cards. As you can see from the photos below, they all fit perfectly!

These are definitely the ones to get people.

I don't own a Kimchi release so I have never tried their cases. Steelbook Central's web site states that they do ship worldwide (see here). As far as prices go they are best when ordering larger quantities (see prices here).

They do enclose on all sides but they are a slightly different design from the Kimchi ones. The tabs/flaps that fold in at each end are slightly different. Just as good, though.

And the price is just too high ... even with the bigger set over 1 GBP per piece ?!? That is really a lot , and I thought 0,60 cent for a sleeve was a lot

I agree with admiralakbar. I just received my order and I love them for my steelbboks that are still sealed. Fit very well and not too tight. They may not be the cheapest sleeves that you can buy, but you needn't worry about tearing the plastic when trying to insert a steelbook that is still sealed though! If only the shipping to the U.S. was better.

these do look pretty nice, but I have to agree with MB on this one, definitely a bit high on the price tag. If I wanted to do my whole collection with them, which I would want to, it would cost me a fortune to make the switch from polybags.

have you had this resolved, as i too order from blu-steels.com at the start of the month then on Nov 5th i got an e-mail stating that they had been posted and to leave feedback but i have yet to recieve my items.
i have sent him a message a few days ago asking about this but i have not had any reply yet. i know royal mail can be a bit slow at times but it shouldn't take more than 3 weeks to send a package from Germany to the UK

i have still not recieved anything 6 weeks later despite sending several messages to the supplier asking for any update or information regarding my order to which he has not even bothered to reply to, would advise anyone thinking of using blu-steels.com to steer well clear off

Strange, As I have never had a problem with blu-steels. I have bought sleeves many times from them and have always received them in reasonable time.

I'm another fan of the Movie-Style sleeves and even with the P&P they work out cheaper than the blu-steel ones.

I'm just starting my collection of steelbooks and I have around 6 books with just the oversize plastic slip covers that I took from my work lol. We used them to re-wrap used movies. I'm interested in using the steelbook central, they have a shop setup on ebay~ http://stores.ebay.com/Steelbook-Central/Steelbook-Slipcovers-/_i.html?_fsub=3440335012

My question being the SC3 covers vs the SCF1 full case covers (mentioned above by admiralakbar) it will cost me around $20 for 10 SC3's and $28 for 10 SCF1s. Is it worth spending the extra $8 for the fully enclosed cases?

I have only had one problem with an order. I paid for 24 and only got 12. They promptly sent the missing shells when I informed them of the mistake. Been nothing but happy with them.
