Sounds like a plan Zavvi but a strange movie choice to start doing a slipcase, also there was a box set available with the first steelbook release of this previously, would like goodies and numbering for prices like this though.

If this is sold out already then that was fast, hope it comes back in stock for anyone interested in it, I'd say it's a Zavvi thing right now.

A slipcase is a lovely idea I wish they would do that with more releases. I have the original larger set for this but nice release for anyone who doesn't have it

Yes mate it was live, I don't know for how long though, stuck an order in.

I'm getting this as purely a test run, I'm pleased a Uk retailer is (potentially) looking at Slips and maybe more beyond that ( again potentially), packaging needs to be spot on, film choice is critical and hopefully some WEA releases. ..

This steelbook has new artwork as well it's not a repackage of the previous steelbook

I have the original steelbook release and that steelbook was done well with nice finish

I might double dip if the price drops
If the UK Film Studios going to provide more steelbook releases with Slipcases that would be good but they need to be decent quality slips and be even better if they include a booklet or art cards or both

Also depends on if the slips are decent quality or not but would have one function that would be helpful they would help protect the steelbook in transit

When new films come out be it a prequel or sequel you often see re releases of the first film
Customers who did not get the previous release would be drawn to this
There has been lot of new steelbook collectors since the last steelbook release so they might be interested in getting this

It's not the first time a re-release of a steelbook for a previous steelbook and with this having new artwork and having a slipcase you will get long tern existing and new steelbook collectors purchasing

I cant see it selling out fast and I will be tempted to wait for a price drop
When I see in hand photos/videos I will decide to get or not

It could always be the studio that pushed this idea, not Zavvi's... so until we see a second steel w/ slip release from them, I'm not getting my hopes up for more of these.
