Hi folks. What's this talk of a code? I order from Zavvi as much as anyone, but I didn't get emailed a code. Zavvi playing favorites? If anyone has info on how to access a code, please let me know.

Thanks!

Same here, I never get those either.

The 20% discount doesn't work properly, it's more like 10. EDIT: Now I get it. The maximum discount for any one order is £20.

Grabbing this worked out well for me as I didn't know I had missed placing an order for The Fox and the Hound, so was happy to place an order for both with a fair discount.

The good thing about Snow White being released this late in the series is that we'll get the numbered spine on the jcard. Of course, there's still Fantasia to break the symmetry. Which makes sense, seeing as how Fantasia always was the outsider among the first classics. And speaking of the Fantasia steelbook, the lack of a numbered spine is my last worry.

Isn't this the same story for jungle book and little mermaid

Sure, but they are much further down on the list of Disney classics. The Jungle Book is no. 19, and The Litte Mermaid is no. 28. And unless Disney decides to release those short film anthologies from the war years, we're still going to have several holes in the collection. The should at least do a steelbook for The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, that one is great. And Fun and Fancy Free could be great with the Giant on the front. I would like to see a steelbook for all the films on the list, but I really doubt Zavvi will release all of them.

I'm not really surprised it took so long to sell out. If it had more original artwork I'm sure it would be a different matter. To me Lion King is the better steelbook, so it makes sense to me that it sold out before Snow White. Of course it's a more popular film, even if Snow White has always been a favourite among animation fans. Imo the artwork is more striking because it is less busy.

Granted, Snow White always looked odd in the film, so I guess you can't blame it all on the cover artwork. I just hope the metal finish can help tone down that plasticy finish.

The inside artwork and the back is cool thats the best part about this steelbook the front art is exactly same as the normal Bluray very happy customer...
