I'm off home to collapse and get sleep
Kimchidvd ordering is NUTS

Got my order in but can you picture us trying to order
Iron Man that will a mission impossible

Everyone seems to have gone for the Lenticular because of unconfirmed artwork on the full slip. I lost the lenticular when I went to pay but managed to order a full slip will just have to see what happens with the artwork if it stays will be quite happy just glad I at least got an order in. I dread to think what it will be like when Drive & Ironman go live.

Dude, it was only 600 copies.. thats nothing. Not at all hard to believe it soldout this fast.

I'm shocked the full slip is still in stock to be honest.

Well, I apologize for my comments in that case....just too disappointed on missing this lenti after the Rush full slip....exactly the same null order issue and empty cart...

I never tried to add more than one, so did not know it was changing back to one....good that Kimchi was able to make the code changes necessary to enforce the limit!!

However, does not take away from the issues faced in ordering from their website time and again, and whatever be the case, Snowpiercer was definitely not a high profile or popular movie...

Ya, thanks the Gods for that order limit.

I never tried to add more than one, so did not know it was changing back to one

Though as far as I understand it, it was 1 copy per order rather than per account. So in theory it would have been possible for someone to make several orders of 1 copy (assuming they could battle through the server issues).

After many fails & Erors I finally got my f'ing order in.

The lenti, the one I wanted the most, just disappeared right out of my cart like three times & finally it sold out. Will have to snag one here or on ebay! :ohno:

I managed to get a Fullslip and I panicked Because the Lenti went OOS so I bought the Box Set without thinking too. $160 for Full & Box Set w/shipping.

My girlfriend had no luck with the Lenti either. But she managed to grab a Fullslip, too! It was a real thrill ME & Her ordering together! Eror messages on either device! Lenti's just doing backflips right out of the carts!

Holy mother fudge cake. Looks like ill have to look to ebay to get me an OCD sealed mint Lenti, for my Snowpiercer kimchi collection.

Cheers to all who managed to get an order in!

Awwwwwwwww, that's SO ROMANTIC!!!! *single tear falls*

I have come to the conclusion that it is basically IMPOSSIBLE for the lenticular to have truly and legitimately sold out in 11 minutes.

11 minutes x 60 is 660 seconds. That means an average of one completed order every second for 11 minutes straight. There is no way that Snowpiercer can demand that kind of frenzy, especially when you consider that many people here report being able to order 1 of each or even 1 full + 1 lenti. It's not even possible to get all that into the cart and check out fast enough. And actually, the fastest you can possibly even go through the checkout process would take at least 30 seconds even if everything went smooth as butter. So the first order probably did not even complete until at least 1 minute after it went live.

In order to complete the order, you have to:

1. Refresh the item page to get the "add to cart" button
2. Add to cart.
3. Wait for "Cart add success" to appear
4. Click "Cart"
5. Click "Order now"
6. Click receiver info same all "yes" button
7. Click "Checkout"
8. Click payment method.. (Card, Paypal, etc)
9. Either enter card info or login to paypal
10. Confirm payment.

With Kimchi's servers moving at a snail's pace, it is 100% impossibile that 600+ collectors from around the world were able to accomplish all this to sell out that lenticular in 11 minutes.

Well, just got up knowing that 6am was gone be tough to explain to the wife and expected it to all be gone. Wanted the lenti, which was gone, got the full slip instead which I can live with - maybe trade it down the line for a lenti if the mood takes me but the main thing is - I have one copy. Now.... COFFEE! :smashed:

I do not think most collectors want 3 versions. Personally, I prefer maximum 2 versions and 1000 units for each. History repeats itself again, it's impossible to buy the lenticular version.

With drive and iron man, will be a complete disaster.

Definitley not 100% impossible, as it seems like it has actually happened. 666 isn't that many to sell out. Even if it took everyone 10 minutes to order, they're all ordering at the same time, so it would still only take 10 minutes. It wouldn't take hours to sell out.

That's a personal opinion as I passed on Rush, but if you like this release, I wouldn't pass Type, A and B (Full Slip)...I prefer a kimchi when I am interested in a release than any other...of course I would add a taiwan in the mix if available.

The first two Kimchi exclusives I bought (Pianist and Rush) I had absolutely no problem buying them. This time I did. It's totally possible a couple hundred got through just fine like I did the other times. And not everyone buying them are collectors. For all you know, someone here could have had 20 friends in an office each buying one of each.
