I already have the French steel and have the kimchi full slip on order. Also have Italian steel on the way soon. After looking at the art and finish of the Italian one I cant help feel that the actual art of the korean steelbook is the laziest and most ordinary looking of the three. I am not even considering the german abomination. This is kinda ironic considering that this was directed by a Korean and korea has the worst design!!:wtf::confused::dunno:

My impression is that the Korean steel is really meant to be part of one of the sets - the slip, the box, the artbook, etc. - its simplicity intended to be complemented by the rest of the package. They sell a standalone as well, but in all the other options the feel of the film is conveyed through additional outer art.

That said, the WI logo is begging to be embossed...

I believe it was confirmed to be embossed and yes difference from Type a and the Non Exclusive is simply the non exclusive doesn't contain the number card and the Character cards, the rest is the same.

The Steel is manufactured by Scanavo Denmark (confirmed by Choi) so in terms of quality it will be top notch.

The artbook edition looks so tempting (especially since it's the only one in stock at the moment), but it's too pricey for a movie I haven't seen. It's so neat looking though. Must have self control. I'm halfway hoping it sells out by the time I wake up so I'm no longer tempted.

I'm actually happy about having ordering it. If you haven't ordered Tybe B or C, Order Type A as it was in stock before(doun't know about know but it's a steel worth owning now depends if you want the numbering card and Character Card) If not there's always the non exclusive but if Type a Exclusive in stock there's only 5$ difference I think.

Has the region info been announced yet if it's region A locked may cancel
Choi any Update please?

as to my knowledge it is still unknown and not been advertised by Choi. They don't have the info yet as they would have advertised it...

'this has been a very demanding information what I would say to check the OP as once they will have the info confirmed they will update the OP

I sent Choi a PM he says he doesn't have the info yet but it will be posted as soon as kimchi find out.
I already have the French steel & didn't need English subs but if it's region A locked may cancel.

yes indeed I did state Choi did not have the info yet and once he has it will be posted in the OP

Region A can be region free, you don't really go by this but by the studio, for example Paramount and Warner Bros. are always region free no matter what is written...it really has to do with time a collector has been collecting and learning which companies are and which are not

Publisher: CJ Entertainment ...not familiar enough with this company to know if they are A locked or Region Free

But once the info is available Choi will post in the OP Post.
