This was really easy to obtain on here for how long it was available, even with PayPal errors it looks like people eventually got what they wanted.
For me, and this is personal opinion so could easily be the minority but this was a very disappointing release. There was no booklet, which I can get over but makes a difference for some.
Even without the booklet, I feel there is no great selection here.
If they did a lenticular of the front of a1 mixed with the back of a2 and the steelbook of a1/lenticular I would have happily paid $60 for it.
It makes me wonder if these companies ever ask what fans want. If they did, they could probably charge a little extra but I guess they know items will sell out anyway and as stated, this is purely my opinion and everyone else could love these.

I always see posts from multiple people for premium releases wishing they combined this front image with that back image and so on.

My belief is that if these companies gave people what they wanted all in one slip and steelbook, to use your example, a lenticular of the front of a1 mixed with the back of a2 and the steelbook of a1/lenticular, if that is indeed the perfect mix, then who would bother buying any of the other slips and steelbooks in their releases?

These companies know this and spread the desirable options out over the entire release so that if people want it all they have to buy multiple slips or the OC.

These companies know exactly what fans want.

Never give the people all they want in one slip/steelbook combo because like you said they know items will sell out anyway.

Usual practice for the WWA releases from WeET. They just put together the slips with the matching numbers and that's it. Only the WEA releases get a box.

i'm surprised the group buy allotment was this small considering the print run.

I agree I wouldn’t get anything but an A2 maybe but you would think they would give every Group Buy in the world 50-100 copies of A1 and the Lenti.
Otherwise that’s a whole lot of steelbooks WEET is trying to sell direct!

Much thinner unfortunately. Same size as the venom carnage one. Literally just wide enough to slide in the steel, nought else.

It’s transitional with the portal closing (or opening depending on how you look at it) and Doc Ocks tentacles appearing. Looks decent to be fair. Has depth etc
