There are two versions, it's not hearsay. I like many have ordered both and saw the listings for the two different versions. It has been confirmed by Wreck who confirmed this when these were first announced. What more evidence do you need (other than in hand pictures)?

Are you a Zavvi employee? A clarification from someone there is required, this is just hearsay from yourself. Id imagine a lot of peeps here are still not 100% sure...

Sit down.

Myself and numerous other members here have preordered BOTH copies. Is that proof enough for you?? Sheesh!

There are two separate releases. I genuinely don't understand what's tough to grasp. Wreck and Zavvi employees are one and the same these days (thank god), there's a white one, and a black one.
1 is white.
1 is black.
2 separate releases.
Have a good day :)

Does anybody know yet if this will still have the blue bar printed at the top? I'd much prefer it without!

I'd imagine it won't The picture is probably only trying to show what the J-card folding over the top will look like. The blue banners seem to be a thing of the past in the UK. Only Germany and France seem to still have a hard-on for them!!

The guy who asked the question only has 20 posts. I did not know everything and everyone in 20 posts. The dude has probably never heard of Wreck. Lighten up.

I have one of these bad boys on pre order, the white one that is. Cancelled my 2nd order of the black one simply because the white was better art.

Hoping it looks good in hand, would be gutted should it come chipped and what not.

Shame its not before the 2nd film release, would have watched it before going to the local IMAX.

I made my pre-order the day it was announced here, but that was before there were two different ones being offered.

Anyone know how I can tell which is the version I got, and if I can switch my preorder over to a specific (white) one? The link in the OP just takes me to the main Zavvi page, and searching for Star Trek only gives me the black version in the search results.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply =)

Does Zavvi ever get cancellations and/or throw up extra copies? Or is it pretty much set in stone that they've got no more?

These seemed to sell fast. I guess with all the other releases it got swamped.

I got myself a copy but maybe it wasn't such a smart idea releasing them both at the same time. I bet you staff at the warehouse will have a field day shipping these out! The only difference in the description is the word Zavvi

They MIGHT come back into stock after release for a very short timeframe like Roger Rabbit did. But you'd have to be quick once they did. Also Zavvi sold another 65 copies in about 2 hours of Roger Rabbit on their E-bay store but the price had increased from £15 to £22.

Im sure they will come back into stock, there are cancellations happening all the time and seeing as im guessing it doesnt go live as soon as a cancellation is made, they will probably put it back up a few days before just to get all the cancelled pre-orders sold

Whats the print run on these, was it the normal 4k or lower because its a reprint of a play.com edition? Sorry if this has been asked befpre... 25 pages and all that
