I really hope that's not the case. As a casual collector the ES steelbooks are way overpriced. Granted it's a limited run, but I'd rather Zavvi or Amazon got it.

Id dont think you have any worries there... from the success of the first one and the sequal being this springs biggest blockbuster, i am sure it will have a worldwide release and in the UK a Zavvi or Amazon release...

Although if ES were to release it i would make sure i do not miss out like i did with G.I. Joe

I think the value of this release will go up a lot over the next few months if its anywhere near as nice as play's version, not as much as play's but it won't be £30-£40 as it is now on ebay, but who knows as its difficult to judge these things.

Yes they are a sticker.

Yes it's glossy - from what I can see as I don't have the Play edition to hand any more, it's exactly the same in terms of quality and gloss finish.

I'd be fuming if I'd spent good money on the Play version. This isn't just similar, it's identical aside from the plastic insert.

Presumably the play.com was normal retail price at the beginning, its just those people that purchased from eBay at extortionate prices??
