yeah I have wanted play's edition for ages now, I wasn't collecting when it came out but now that we have this I have zero interest in play's and I'm sure a lot of people will share the same thoughts.

Just received mine and it looks great. I do find it funny that it has a full J-card completed with Blu-banner, only to have a banner printed on the Steelbook aswell. I guess they'll be using the same J-card for this one and the black version.

As a reprint I am impressed with this, good for collectors not wishing to pay the grail premium version.

Sadly I expect there'll be a load of folks (not from here but eBay) trying to pass this off as original.

Check the barcode. Barcode on original was surrounded by a box, and code ended 3439: the new version has no box and ends 9339. Obviously there are other differences eg # of discs which should be enough to help folks differentiate.

Other than that if my original wasn't opened I'd be definitely openning this. Looks great, no paint flaws or spine slashes.

I opened mine and both of them on the back is covered with scratches, never seen a steelbook as bad before and one has paint chip on the front, everyone should probably check the back of theirs

I'l upload some pics mate, I'm not sure how well I will capture them, they are aren't too noticeable at first but after inspecting them I could see it but there's lots of them

I've got multiple copies of this I am sourcing for others and also a mini GB. None of them have scratches outside the shrink wrap from what I can see. Under the data sheet I will have to open the steel to see. From my perspective, all in mint condition

Opened one of mine, spotless apart from a small dent on the banner which you would not see unless opened as the card that covered it didn't have any marks on it. Raises concerns about how they were originally sealed.
