just got mine.was going to keep it sealed but there is a rattle from inside ( i assume disc is loose) anyone else before i break the seal

I'l post a few pictures guys but I don't think I really managed to capture the scratches, but both of mine are covered on the back I mean there's lots and lots of them and also on the front there's a few, as I said I might just be unlucky but its quite unlucky to get both that are covered in them. they are very light scratches but there scratches all the same.

If anyone is opening them hold them up against a light otherwise you might not spot them

Just got mine. Thought Zavvi were supposed to be using foam inserts on their steelbooks now, but it came in a nice thick white box and thankfully there were no dents. Mine also has a paint chip but thankfully it's only small and on the back of the case and isn't too noticable since it's on the white part.

sorry guy's but for whatever reason I'm not able to upload these pictures onto my computer, today isn't turning out very well If you look really closely on Daddycool's last pic on the back it kind of looks like it may have the scratches that I'm talking about its hard to tell but I think I can see a few, I'm not sure what's up with my computer its done this before if I can get it working later I'l try and post them.

I should of said before but I can't actually feel the scratches if I run my finger over so its actually marks that looks like scratches

The disc will almost certainly be the same as the amaray version so region free

I got mine today and there is two tiny paint dots missing on the front cover. Annoying but it's not terrible.

Mine has a fair sized paint chip on my front top left corner. Will try to find a craft shop and get it touched up if possible. Back seems to be OK.

Mine arrived today, dented beyond belief. Second steelbook from Zavvi and now both have been damaged!!

Sent them a strongly worded email, be interesting to see what they do about it....

My postman finally come and so did my Star Trek. I love the gloss finish and I'm not bothered about the blue bar being printed but it does seen strange that they got the blu ray on the j card to.

Mine turned up today (see the Latest Steelbook Acquired thread), a minor chip on the blue banner on the backside, but is so minute I can live with it as I have NO intention of selling this SB. Sorry to hear those who've got bashed/damaged steels, it's disheartening when that happens

got mine, noticed a few differences between this and the original play release. the blu ray banner is a darker blue then the play version, and the bluray logo has actually been repositioned slightly making it a bit more even then the play version.

The first release was a finger print magnet and had many noticeable imperfections due to high glossy finish on black background. I am yet to come across a single mint copy of the first one as it had some sort of issues especially on the back and on the banner.
