How big was that batch of whites that came in stock the other day. I ordered well before they took down the listing and they haven't been shipped yet. I got an email that they were sorry they had not been shipped and they had been checking with suppliers still.....

I'm not sure but i had mine sent out yesterday morning.

I find that hard to believe. All that extra stock would take up so much room and play.com needed all the cash they could get. If they go with a blu-banner they at least needed to print on the rating stickers like Germany does.

I lost most of my respect towards Zavvi with this release. I'm glad Asia is printing the same steels most of the time so I don't have to give Zavvi any cash.

I'm a bit confused here...

The outer case seems to be an exact replica of Play's version. Personally I think it's a reprint rather than left over stock (unless the metal parts were leftovers with new 1-disc inners added).

Why would you want certificates printed on it (which weren't there originally)? Not all UK releases with printed certificates have a blue banner (Psycho, Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and not all early steelbooks with a blue banner have certificates (Star Trek).

Mine has a massive blob of glue all over the front top of the steelbook, was gona keep it sealed, but will open it now and get blob off

I ordered this, but having seen the video I can't believe how lazy they were. As others have said, blue banner, AND rating logos??? YEUK! Mine is going on ebay. I think this is one of the steelbook buys I will regret the most.

I just received my copy of Star Trek in the post from Zavvi. I ordered the Black one and missed out on the White re-release, but I got sent the White one anyway. Not complaining, I'm just a bit confused.

It is a lovely steel, despite the blue banner ( although the spine doesn't seem to be on straight )
