There are two different order descriptions for each Steelboook:

1. Star Trek XI - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]
2. Star Trek XI - Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]

No 1 (The 'Zavvi Exclusive') is the black one.

And this is not the steelbook but just giving you idea on how it would look with the front and back. ie. giving the collector the choice of which side they want as front so you can switch the plates.

No. This is already available on Amazon.de. Cheaper too apparently.

Yep. You can go into cancel and see that's your only option before actually canceling anything

Not for me... Amazon.de is charging 10eu for shipping to aus while @ zavvi I only have to pay a pound for shipping.

Did the release date for this change at some point?

Every time I pre order a steelbook I set a reminder on my Ipad calendar to remind me a week before a steelbook is released so I can decide whether to keep the pre order or not. I Got a reminder on Monday and my zavvi account says estimated date for this is 13/05/13. It's definitely this version as it says Zavvi exclusive.

Just got an email today saying they are sorry this hasn't been sent and that they are taking it up with their suppliers. Obviously was a mistake somewhere seeing as it isn't out for 2 weeks, I just hope they don't cancel my order.

You should have no worries, its because we ordered it when the release date was still the 13th and so an automatic email has been sent out to appolagise for the fact it has not been sent... I now have 2 email appolagising, you will probabley get 2 emails a week until dispatch on the 27th but no orders will be canceled... It was the same thing with Roger Rabbit, they sent loads of emails out so i contacted them and they jst sed it was a mistake with the auto email system

They should send an auto apologize apologizing for sending an auto apologize which confuses many.

They should update their website, same with the pre-order sold out, while it was not even live yet!

I ordered the black copy and got an email saying it had been dispatched. Package turned up five days later with a white steelbook version as apposed to the alternative artwork. I actually missed out on the re-release, but it seems strange to me that I received the more sought after version.

i have my White one. Just placed a pre order for the Black one. Im so addicted i have to get the deliveries to work and sneak them in so the other half doesnt see them lol.
