Me too, this hust shows how good Zavvi are getting, just one example, the uk is now getting some of the best steelbooks to date and all thanks to Zavvi. What surprises me is how reasonable the prices are for works of art I've this. Loving this in my collection. A really nice shiny steel.

Gee dude, mix it up a bit will ya.

Im glaf zavvi are releasing some good steelbooks, but their not all amazing.

Got both zavvi releases but still prefer the 3 disc amaray

Zavvi are doing ok so far but still have a way to go yet, so keep it real will ya

Got this in the post the other day after paying only £9.85, pretty chuffed with it seeing as I was having trouble getting a mint copy of the 3-disc amaray for a sensible price - it seems slipcover scalpers are abundant!

Was going to wait for the double-film boxset but it seems to be RRP-ing at about £27-30 on preorder so I may as well get seperate copies seeing as this steelbook was so nice and under a tenner! Very please with it - did have it on pre-order at £15 but cancelled as that's a bit high for a 1-disc steelbook. £15 should at least come with a DVD copy if not a special features disc...unless it's a new-release film.

It was a huge print run I think. Maybe 4000 for the white version with original artwork and 4000 for the black artwork. I think most people went with the white original artwork.

I guess zavvi are struggling to sell these!

At the rate they are pushing out these steelbooks, its a situation they better get used to, Im being far more selective on what I buy and can see a lot of the catalogue titles being around for a while and ending up in the sales, there are still a lot of Play.com's old 'limited to 4000' catalogue titles that are still available from the retailers who bought up their surplus stock, makes you wonder how many were left in Plays warehouse when they sold up. Granted certain titles will always sell fast or at least be very popular but I can see in the very near future a big sale of surplus stock from zavvi when they do a stockcheck and realise how many steelbooks are still in their warehouse...

Its a case of quality over quantity..a well designed steelbook will always sell, churning out 4 or 5 average steels a month and the shine soon wears off and they soon become so commonplace that folks start looking for alternate (quite often cheaper) alternatives such as exclusive slips. For a new release its not as much of an issue as there are usually only a few pounds between the regular amaray and the steel, but for a catalogue release I have to justify to myself the extra £10+ I have to pay for a film in a steelbook that I can buy in an amaray for under £5 ..and more often than not recently, the amarays are winning

Having said all that, this artwork has grown on me over time, I bought the white one as I liked the enterprise artwork and thought it suited the film better (the play one came out before I started buying Blurays so I missed out on it also) but now Enter Darkness has come out this one does match quite nice with the steels with Benedict Cumberbatch on the front...Still not gonna be double dipping though lol

Good spot mate.

Damn, they must be desperate to flog this now. Soon, rather than £2 back for a damaged steel, they will send you a free copy of this bad boy!

Never been a fan of the artwork. Its boring, but a great price (finally):naughty:

wishful thinking, but it looks like it sold out actually. i couldn't get any money in the bank over the weekend and today when i woke up it was sold out. sucks, that's was a hell of a price.
