I literally laughed when I heard they were coming out with a remake (reboot) of Star Trek several years ago... I thought it was ridiculous. Then my friends who are really into Star Trek loved the movie... so I went and saw it and was surprisingly impressed.... really thought it was awesome.

I missed out on the FS / UK 3-disc steel, then the UK 1-disc white cover. So naturally when this one popped up, I did not even hesitate. I would rather have a Japan release than a UK one anyways.... especially if a UK is Region B locked.

Having seen the zavvi abomination with the rating logos (I detest rating logos!) I am now interested in this one.

i believe those logos(on the zavii one) are removable/stickers ... peopel just didn't remove them

Yep, just a sticker with both certificates printed on it (easily removed).

It's been a long time since certificates have been printed on UK steelbooks. X-Men: First Class, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and The Wolfman were among the last.
