With the Japanese version being a Metalpak and Paramount releasing a huge wave of them in the USA, I really hope they don't start to invade our shores (or anywhere in Europe that currently doesn't suffer from the blight that is Metalpak). I don't think they will, but it is always a worry. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing this version as it will give us an idea of what the UK version will be like.

Netherlands has become the dumping ground in Europe for MetalPaks EEK!

Paramount did release a mini wave (IM, Star Trek, etc) of substandard metal slips in Australia.

Maybe Paramount is testing the ground in the US with MetalPaks EEK! Vote with your wallets, don't pick these up

emboss/deboss is merely an option, i can't even understand why almost everyone seems to like this so much, weird to me.. anyways..

Forgot to ask but it is glossy as i expected right?(that's my feeling seeing those pictures)

I think it's quite obvious that emboss/deboss makes a steelbook individual. And they surely have to put more effort into making embossed/debossed steelbooks.

It's not only an option, it's an upgrade.

Edit:
My copy has just been dispatched from amazon.de. Awaiting it on Friday :)

you meant as if they's stand out of the rest? if so, it 'd better be rare and not becoming something every steel has as many seem to want :/(and becoming more and more often, as i think it does)

yep, at least about this, cause a steel is a whole(finish, inside art etc)

well not for me as well as some rare others, lol
