NEW UPDATE 8/13/2013:

We have a short update on the finish details for our 2 exclusive Star Trek Into Darkness steelbooks. Both the steelbook in the Villain Edition and the Hero Edition steelbook will have debossed title treatments and be matte finishes. We had some fantastic ideas for the ***8220;special packaging***8221; we promised for the Hero Edition, but unfortunately the time constraints of turning this around in just over a month before the release date meant that none of them were possible. The Entertainment Store exclusive sticker that has been on our previous releases will be on these releases too, and we can only apologise for being able to make the Hero Edition special rather than extra special.

All is not lost though ***8211; some of the special packaging we had planned for Star Trek Into Darkness will be present on our next release, which we will be announcing exclusively via HDN on Tuesday 20th August. You won***8217;t be disappointed, I promise!

Strange that ES have pulled it, I thought they would release any extras they might have held back.

Mine was dispatched only yesterday second class and arrived today. From their return address believe they are based in Enfield north London which is the reason why I received my copy the next working day

Great looking steel and the matte finish on this is very fitting and of the highest quality....Paramount have now demonstrated how to produce a high quality matte finish as well as their previous gloss titles. Well done.....hopefully other distributors will follow suit.

It's debossed...The outer frame is not, inner is, title is not (but seems embossed)

So you agree that the ES description is wrong.

I doubt very much any orders were actually dispatched on Tuesday as the included invoice has the 28th August printed on it.

Did you double check your delivery details on your Play account? Sometimes I copy and paste a lot of stuff and it pastes my previous copy...

My package was addressed to 'Andy0011' and I don't use that as my username anywhere and on double checking my order it clearly states my full name.
