Now I just hope there is a manual for the phaser, could be problematic if I can`t learn to change the settings for stun or kill!

Tell me about it, the last one I purchased went off prematurely in my local Tescos. Stunned 5 people and damaged an entire cold meats section, how embar- rassing.

I can see this being a real problem, posts about steelbooks arriving with holes in it after the phaser went off in transit

I just looked at the amazon.fr site and saw that it still has the Oct 16th date. Anyone know if they plan on moving this date up? I'm in the U.S. and would prefer this over the amazon U.S. version b/c of the steelbook. Just not sure if I wanna pay $20 more for it.

I hope they show the artwork before the 2nd Sept. when the UK steelbook is released, have them on pre-order and wouldn't want it to be the same artwork on both.

Total cost with shipping to the US is 67.03 EUR, which is $88.88. The cost of the Amazon US non-steelbook with tax came to $86.89.

So for me its about $2.00 more, not $20.00. I just ordered it. I had pre-ordered both the US Amazon Phaser edition and the Walmart 2D steel, and then was like what am I nuts?

The little ship with the Walmart edition is cool but not that cool with only a 2D copy of the film.

I think what is throwing you off on the French one is VAT, which we don't get charged on checkout. See for yourself when you get a chance, you can get your total before you actually check out.

I knew it wasn't going to have that Ster Trek Insignia art work like the poster that was shown! It seems that cover is being dedicated to the non-3D versions.
