Pre-order is active at £22.50

Shoddy price if it's not 3D and no extra discs...let's hope this either drops. I'm pre-ordering the Sainsbury's exclusive, let me know when any of the 3 steelbooks drop below £20 and I'll pay that, otherwise £15 is about right as I would prefer special features to swanky cases!

My feelings exactly. Not paying £22.50 but it will surely drop if 2D only. It's fairly common that they do this to give an illusion of good value. I'll probably go for it at about £18 as I can reduce that using vouchers earned via online surveys. Actual value of this is probably £15.99.

I'm torn between this and the non-villain version from ES. This will most likely be cheaper, but I'm not blown away by the back art.

This will probably be the cheapest one. The others from ES, the normal will probably be 28 pounds and the Villain version probably be 37 pounds

I wasn't aware that there was a Sainsbury's exclusive. Does that have anything different? If so, then it looks like I'll be buying four different versions of this

I never got the Play exclusive of the last one, and I still need to pick up a version of it for the special features

I agree, ES bound to be more expensive, but definitely not going for the villain release as this cover is being released in other countries, so might go for the other ES release, just because it is a different cover.

I am between the amazon or the ES normal edition.

How many version of this do we need? It's getting a bit silly now isn't it?

Perhaps a bit silly but at least it gives us loads of choice. Those who don't want or can't see 3D have an option that doesn't entail paying extra for content that isn't required. Those who want a toy ship also have an option.

Having said that, imagine trying to keep track of the forum threads if they did so many versions for every film EEK!

£22.50? Every reaction to this I've had I've had to redo because I know I'd get banned for expletives. I was expecting this to be the cheaper option. God forbid if this IS the cheaper option.

I feel bad for those who are determined to get all the Into Darkness steelbooks. This and the two ES steels are going to set them back like £80-£90. FOR FIRST HAND STEELBOOKS!

It will almost certainly drop in price. It is very common for Amazon to come in with a high price and then drop it nearer to release. I'd expect around £18, perhaps a little less. Still a touch high but much more like it.
