It will almost certainly drop in price. It is very common for Amazon to come in with a high price and then drop it nearer to release. I'd expect around £18, perhaps a little less. Still a touch high but much more like it.

I'll pre-order this anyway. Might have more luck of this dropping in price than I do of having Zavvi's Iron Man 3 drop.

There's so many alternate artwork options for this title. It's starting to hurt my head. I guess I can count the ES exclusives out as I'm not in the U.K. Will prob end up going with Spain or something. Really don#t like the overuse of Cucumber batch or whatever he's called on this one.

Star Trek: Into Darkness Steelbook
Ordered from Amazon
3D not interested even though I have Plasma 3D TV
Extras all on 2D disc so wont be missing anything

I Would only by a 3D Blu Ray if it came with extras disc like Prometheus did as 2D Blu ray did not have the bonus Disc

All that's important to me is The Film and Extras and of course its a steelbook

Just curious Do any of you watch the 3D of a film and with 2D version always included
Which Version you watch most the 3D OR 2D Version be honest with your answer
Like you watch the 3D Version once and rest of the time watch the 2D version more

£22.50? Every reaction to this I've had I've had to redo because I know I'd get banned for expletives. I was expecting this to be the cheaper option. God forbid if this IS the cheaper option.

I feel bad for those who are determined to get all the Into Darkness steelbooks. This and the two ES steels are going to set them back like £80-£90. FOR FIRST HAND STEELBOOKS!

Everyone relax, "THE PRICE WILL COME DOWN" Always does
Oblivion was also £22.50 when first went up now its £18.02 and I think it even dropped to £16 something.

I even think this will even drop to £9.99 like the Hobbit after a few months, Its not limited so there will be 1000s

The price may drop a little but I wouldn't be too certain with the 3D disc being included. Oblivion was just a standard 2D release.

I thought there was no confirmation that this version HAD the 3D disc included? I know it's in the ES releases but Amazon haven't updated their details yet and they are selling a separate 2D/3D amaray.

So if it's just 2D then the price could drop.

I was talking about the amazon release not the ES release, The amazon is the same as Oblivion just a standard 2D release and the Hobbit with 1000s made and still for sell now at £16.50.

Single disc (1 BD)
2D only with all extras on same disc
1 Disc release only

No 3D disc in this release

Ordered - won't sit nice with my Zavvi steel of the first one but hey, my wallet can breath a little easier than if I had gone for either of the ES releases ...
