NEW UPDATE 8/13/2013:
We have a short update on the finish details for our 2 exclusive Star Trek Into Darkness steelbooks. Both the steelbook in the Villain Edition and the Hero Edition steelbook will have debossed title treatments and be matte finishes. We had some fantastic ideas for the “special packaging” we promised for the Hero Edition, but unfortunately the time constraints of turning this around in just over a month before the release date meant that none of them were possible. The Entertainment Store exclusive sticker that has been on our previous releases will be on these releases too, and we can only apologise for being able to make the Hero Edition special rather than extra special.

All is not lost though – some of the special packaging we had planned for Star Trek Into Darkness will be present on our next release, which we will be announcing exclusively via HDN on Tuesday 20th August. You won’t be disappointed, I promise!

Star Trek Into Darkness – The Villain Edition (Entertainment Store Exclusive)
Deluxe packaging featuring a 1:50 scale model of the USS Vengeance alongside a stunning 2D and 3D blu-ray plus digital copy steelbook. Limited to 4,000 copies and available exclusively from The Entertainment Store. Final packaging, steelbook finish, embossing, release date and pricing TBC.

From our friends at Entertainment Store in the UK:
The Entertainment Store Boldly goes where other E-tailers cannot

The fastest growing Entertainment E-tailer on the Marketplace, The Entertainment Store, continues its strong exclusive packaging offering in September 2013 with the introduction of 2 2D and 3D Blu Ray Steelbooks for Star Trek: Into Darkness Home Entertainment release.

The limited edition Steelbooks are limited to 4,000 copies each, and will be available to Pre-order from The Entertainment Store on Play.com from midday Friday July 19th 2013.

Since its arrival in March 2013 The Entertainment Store has been working closely with Paramount Home Entertainment and have already teamed up to bring us exclusive Blu Ray SKUs such as GI Joe and Hansel and Gretel but this latest batch of releases look to be the most interesting yet. The E-tailer distributes product directly from the Studio warehouses so the product is guaranteed as authentic and of the highest quality.

Hot Wheels Star Trek Spaceships are very popular. I tried to see if I could pick up the Enterprise to match up with the Vengeance and it costs a fortune. Without the Enterprise I'll pass, but these ships do seem to appreciate.

How much have you seen them for? I just bought a Hot Wheels 2013 edition Enterprise for £1 at Poundland in the UK.

Any chance of a GB? :D

Looking into it more I think I may have a different Hot Wheels Enterprise.

The ones are sale were these which came out this year.

I think the one the other guy was after was probably this one.

The second one has considerably better detail and was released for the first film. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up :emb:

Both this and the non-villain edition seems to gone from the site, the page is still there but you cant order. Could this be sold out?

They don't ship outside the U.K so maybe that is why you cannot checkout the item. If you want this you will need to join a group buy, with the link on top of this page. I still can checkout so it's not sold out yet (not close to yet).

I live in the UK and have this pre-ordered, I was just checking up on it to see how it was selling. Just spoke to Entertainment Store CS and they believe it has sold out!

I'm sure there were loads left last time I checked!

This has definitely not sold out. I just tried to add 999 copies to my cart and it let me do so without a problem, so it seems there are still plenty of copies left. It's not surprising when ES have another steelbook available for £20 less, and Amazon have one for £28 less.

I did have all three on order, but I've literally just cancelled this one as the cost is just too much for what you get and it doesn't seem to be selling out so I may well pick it up cheaper down the line. Plus, I can't justify having three copies of the same film, ha ha!

Though I am going to the US later this year so may try and snag the Walmart one, which is basically this version but only $40.

It was a site blip apparetly as when I emailed them they said they couldnt see it on their system so "it must be sold out" then it popped up again 10 mins later
