If it is widely confirmed that this has no embossing of any kind, it would be a very disappointing release for me. I will open this to watch then and keep the Amazon UK edition sealed. But I really like my Steelbooks embossed :)

sam305 posted that the source of the pictures "rubbed" the steelbook several times and confirmed that there is no embossing of any kind. Who knows at this point if the rubbing was on the naked steel or through the packaging :hilarious: we will all find out on Tuesday or sooner :naughty:

I hope they rubbed hard with the plastic there im sure it made it difficult.

I also realized I had my weeks mixed up so I guess I wont have to wait much longer :oohyeah:

Doesn't seem embossed. Can't remember the last time Wal-Mart had a steelbook release which was embossed. Gets me thinking whether the Superman release will be embossed or not.

This is the weakest Star Trek steelbook release...by far the weakest. First no embossing, then they go overboard with villain (cover AND inside), and no 3D disc either...

I may skip this and may get the UK version instead.

Any pictures yet? I actually prefer no embossing and non-shiny cover for this release, the uk one looks kinda cheap in my opinion, so I'm going to have to sell it and find a flat steelbook with this art

See post #200 on the previous page for pictures.
