So I purchased all 7 seasons at £70 each delivered, £490, on the bases of receiving a collectable pin box as advertised on your web page. The first season came out 19th October 2012 and the 7th season came out 18th December 2014. The problem is that we are still waiting for the pin box that was advertised.

Since amazon is selling the steelbooks with the promise of the collectable pin box, can you guys try and find out what is going on. They have had plenty of time to produce the pin box, the first season came out 19th October 2012. When you spend almost £500 you don't expect be to shafted like this.

As I said it is a amazon.de problem and any help would be welcome, if you could pass this of to a English speaking member of amazon Germany. Thanks.

Hey, @smcbeath, I'm pretty sure all "foreign" Amazon offer the help in english, whether via e-mail or chat. You just have to find it. I think it's under help and it specifically asks you if you need help in english (I know that amazon ES and FR have it, so De has to have it)

I have checked for you, and if you look onto the Star Trek website (www.startrek.de) you'll get an explanation.

Obviously there has been an error in the production of the Pin Box and therefore there is a delay in the delivery of this product.

I'd suggest to check that website occasionally for updates.

Sounds to me that they are passing the buck, think I will be hitting the no button and asking them for a proper response. Not there fault but maybe they can speed paramount up a bit.
 
Here's the email address I have from the company doing the promotion for the pins. I had this address in my inbox from when they replied to my web form inquiry about the damaged steelbooks we received for season 1.

I still haven't gotten my collector box, but came across a post on their Facebook page from someone who got their box but lost the last pin. So I guess the boxes are shipping now.

Has anyone else had any sort of news, or (heaven forbid) an actual Pin Box arrive?...apart from the Facebook guy above.

This is part of the message appearing as a popup on the site at the moment (I don't know if it's a new message, or the same one that's been appearing for a while)...

"The boxes are delivered straight from us. Please have a little patience and sorry for the long wait"
 
I was thinking of this again the other day. Pretty much had given up hope. By the way, anyone got a good recommendation to clean the pins? My season one pin appears to be a little...tarnished?
 
Yes, I am forced to face the fact that 8 months after this pin box should have arrived, there is still no sign, or even any sort of news...

VERY disappointing!! :(

After numerous e-mails and contact submissions (I started contacting them more frequent lately, like weekly, at some point dayly) through StarTrek.de I (FINALLY) got a response last week saying the box would be sent in "the next few days".

And a miracle has happened as I received the box yesterday:

Cool!! Thanks for the info! Glad to see there is hope...after 8 months lol. I'm in the U.S. hopefully they make it here!
 
Roelof - were do you live, Germany, uk, usa? Did you have to sign for the box or did it just arrive with your normal mail. Away to send of some complaints via startrek.de to try and speed this up. But yeah this has been a very poor promotion. For the cost of the box set and to have a 8 month delay after the last steel was released, it has soured the whole collecting for me. Wont be getting fooled into any paramount promo's in the future.

So I have collected all the steelbooks from amazon Germany. The last one came out on 22/12/2014, I have put all my codes on the startrek.de web page but I am still waiting for the pin box to complete the set.



Season 1 was released on 12/10/2012 and as I said, season 7 came out on 22/12/2014. I am wondering why it is taking so long to honour the promotion. When you spend about £500 on a blu ray box set you don't expect such poor customer service from a company like paramount.



I would like you to either honour the promotion or refund me my money. All will be forgiven if you compensate everyone with a bonus pin because of the very, very, very long wait. I would like a borg cube pin please.


I also stuck my address at the bottom of my email to speed up delivery:happy:. Lets see how quickly they respond when you ask for your money back, lol.

The first star ttek steelbook was released in October 2012. Its not like they have not had enough time to honour the deal.

I would like to know what is going on or to be given a refund. The full boxset cost me about £500 and for the promotion not to be honoured 8 months after the last steelbook was released is unacceptable.

I'm from the Netherlands and yes, I had to sign for the box. It came by DHL.

Congratulations on getting your Pin Box...I really thought we would never see these!

What address did you send you emails to? I was going to send something just now to the "Contact" link at the bottom of the Startrek.de site, but I get an "invalid site key" error ( a captcha problem, it looks like)...is this the link you used to send you email?

Or did you send it to a different email contact address?

Fingers crossed these are starting to ship now, so I am a little more hopeful than I was a week ago!

So i got another response from amazon.de quoting the web page so i sent of another email the other day and here is my latest response -

Amazon.de are responsible for the promotion because you have taken the best part of £500 from me and it looks like you are cheating me out of the promotion. You have taken my money and i want my pin box.



How long is an acceptable wait? Speak to the supplier and ask them if they are honouring the promotion or pull the promotion from your web page and offer partial refunds to your customers. Thank you.
