Star Trek 4 is coming. no point to get a trilogy set for me.

Yeah, they said that about Amazing Spiderman 3 and 4, but it never happened. If Star Trek 3 tanks (I for one thought the promo was horrendous- nowhere near as exciting as STID), they won't do Star Trek 4.

Hell see what Lionsgate did with the Divergent series (last theatrical film was cancelled, now it'll be a glorified TV movie leading up to a possible TV series, no guarantees on which cast members will come back).

Until it starts shooting, they can say ANYTHING during the promotional tour for Star Trek 3, but only box office receipts will say if there's a Star Trek 4 sadly.

whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt??????????????????????????? almost 45 pounds for this? i just realized about the price. i dont think so..............well no matter now how awesome is the art, not paying that for this and thats that!

Since I never got the first two on Steelbook- I'm thinking that this may be something I might want to get.
That is assuming that the cover doesn't have "3 MOVIE COLLECTION" on the cover, and the steelbook says "Star Trek Collection" instead of "Trilogy", and whether or not the Steelbook is Standard Size... if it's like that Mission Impossible Collection Steelbook, then that's an automatic no.

But considering that the second Star Trek Movie didn't have as much box office reciprocation as the studio may have wanted, it's entirely possible that maybe a fourth film won't happen...

Well there's another way to think about it. Disney has says that there are more Indiana Jones movies coming. I think they will keep making them in perpetuity. Does that mean you won't buy an Indiana Jones Collection steelbook?

I think the key is them calling it a "collection" and not a "trilogy." That will satisfy Star Trek fans and also those who mod their steelbooks.

It happens with Amaray releases regularly you see new collection releases every time a new film comes out

Steelbooks are now lot more popular than a few years ago so not surprising to see the same happen for Steelbooks

If the 4th or 5th film happens you will see film studios do new collection releases simply because they sell as there is always new customers with disposable income and existing collectors who double or triple dip
