I was never able to resolve the mysterious payment problem with this one, so I'll miss out. When I expressed disappointment to Zavvi, they gave me a $5 credit. Haven't had that happen before!

Zavvi customer service was probably thinking "this guy can't make payment on our steelbooks. Maybe if we give him 5 bucks he might be able to make payment on the next one?"

Yup. I got A New Hope next day on the Saturday after dispatch, then Empire on the Tuesday after, so I'm feeling this is definitely late now.

Same pattern here. Fingers crossed it‘s just held up in the system somewhere depending on which distribution hub is handling it. I’m waiting for Flash Gordon too.

Mine has those scratches and some vertical versions of those marks we saw on all the Empire Steels.

Mine has the same scratches. In certain angles the steelbook looks fine though. Looks like the same sort of problem although this looks more like scratches than those of ESB.

Arrived yesterday with yet ANOTHER spine slash. My copy of A New Hope was the exact same. Both were ordered from Zavvi US.

Wondering is it just a coincidence that Empire Strikes Back, ordered from Zavvi UK, arrived mint.

Either way, hugely disappointing from Zavvi. Cancelled remaining steels from the set.
