IMO the slip is nothing special so I won't bother posting
Over anythingelse Poe Dameron just looks super blurry
Would have bought a BB8 slip instead if I could

On the other hand the steelbook is just beautiful...
I keep around half of my blurays sealed but
don't regret opening this at all

Embossing looks a bit off. I've had terrible luck lately with my 'bossed steels sourced from Scanavo's China factory. Not sure why they can't seem to maintain consistent alignment from steel to steel.

Perhaps their steel stamper gets a bit wonky if rushed:

I will not be happy if their double turns out worse than their OAB lenti (obviously a lot more going on with the OAB lenti but this should still have the same amount of sharpness and depth)

Shouldn't be like that, this is their wea exclusive and they should be putting in the same amount of care and design to make it just as good if not better. Their OAB lenti is amazing in the videos so it will be a huge dissapointment if what yours saying is true

Personally I think this version should have gotten that OAB art because as you've mentioned likewise, it's more of a 'lenti-material'.

That's probably why I felt that way, not because this has poor effects.
The lenticular effect itself seems pretty good.

But if there's a K2SO cover for Rogue One..
I'll probably regret ditching that BB8

No need to worry dude, my single lenti arrived today and the embossing is perfect. It must have been the particular angle the photo was taken or this particular steel just had it slightly off. We're definitely not talking the U.K. Hateful Eight misalignment anyway.

The steel is awesome in-hand!

The faces on the steelbook look too yellow to me. Looks like they all have jaundice or are sickly in some way (Note: Carrie Fisher died not long after photo was taken). My doctor collects steelbooks also and his diagnosis is definitely jaundice. Unless it's just the photography.
