They have not announced the gift edition yet.
For The Force Awakens release, there is going to be 2 versions.
1 version will be the WEA
1 version will be WWA with double side lenti (just like Frozen, GOTG etc etc).

?? Are blufans releasing the European wwa steel with a double lenti and the wea steel (that's in the op) with either single lenti or full slip? I don't understand why they would use the wwa steel when they're doing their own wea steel... I'm very confused

The WWA steel is being released as an OAB version with a double lenti (no 3D) with a small qty

The WEA steel is being released as a regular Blufans exclusive (possibly lenti and a full slip, including 2 BD discs and a 3D disc)

I can't remember what OAB means but I'm happy to hear they're making the wea steel the one with the higher quantity

Why bring out a WWA OAB release nearly a year after the WWA was originally released? Especially as they're going to put out a superior WEA steelbook?

If this was done in the latter half of 2016 then okay but now? Even with a double sided lenti its a bad idea.

Yeah it's a waste of a release when people are crying out for the Marvel releases that were skipped (for example).

Odds are you've either got the WWA release in some form be it Zavvi, best buy, Nova etc.. And if you haven't got it by now then you certainly don't want to shell out £50 for it in a fancy box when you can get a brand new design steelbook for the same priceish which might have the 3d version included

They should do any of the other Marvels that haven't done, Iron man 2 and 3,Incredible Hulk, The avengers (proper blufans treatment)

In Regards to The Avengers, I believe that it would be hard to beat the ''Nova Exclusive'' WEA release of it !
The Slips are very nice they all complement each other as well as the Lenticular which has great depth and the artwork is fresh(they are not so much all on top of each other for the group Picture )
The WEA Steelbook by Nova is just very well done !
