I really like these steels, and i am a big star wars fan. But i bought the big blu ray box last year and dont know if i can buy the whole trilogy again for over £60. can anyone give me an idea on how big the print run was for these? will they be around for a while, or is there a chance of a price drop?

Thanks

Here is mine. I wish it was a glossy finish, embossed would have been nice too. Region Free FYI

Does anyone else think they could have done a better job with the disc artwork? I think Vader, Yoda or Boba Fett should have been on the Ep. V disc, and Luke should have been on the Ep. VI disc. I think Chewie is a weird choice for the Empire disc.

Same discs that came in the UK boxset, instead of the plain North American. All nine discs have a character except for Luke, Leia and Han. Which does seem strange. Dooku and the Emporer are on episode 2 and 3.

I think the art of the whole thing is a weird mish-mash of images. One grainy image of Obi Wan on disc one, one airbrushed picture of Chewie on disc 2 and then a painted image of Vader on disc 3. The front and back look differenty stylistically and the inside is a badly cropped photo on one side and then a painting on the other.

I didn't notice how bad it looked before but this seems more and more like a total cash-grab the more I look at it.

Sainsbuy are currently selling this with an £8 reduction from the original amazon £30 asking price at £22:

Again, not a perfect collection as they shoulda made it a 4 discs steel and got "Star Wars: Episodes IV-VI Archives" bonus disc from the bluray collection in there (disc 8), but still i figure this new lower price is just about enough compensation too, so i finally :ordered:
